Water. The bringer and sustainer of life. Without it, no life could exist. And it was before Allik Tarrik that a great body of water layed out before her. A grey/black colored sand laid underneath her boots as she knelt down and looked out onto the ocean. A thick fog had rolled in earlier today and now it lay over the harbor like a blanket. Behind her were various lights from Crosia's various Pubs, Inns, and late night businesses. Strangely very little noise emitted from Crosia, business has been slow recently for some reason.

The only source of light she had with her was a large flashlight and that was turned off. She wished to be covered in the blankness of the Dark Continent. Covered in a protective barrier where if she can't see anyone and everything around her was quite, she felt safe. As Tarrik hugged her knees closer to her body she stared South-East, in the direction of the Sea of Witchery.

Light footsteps, Allik heard now, and like a beacon, some lights shined through the haze. Though Allik didn't turn to face the light, she knew it was there for it focused on her and what light that didn't get stoped by her body made an outline of herself on the water before her. "Excuse me Miss, what are you doing out here?" Came the only voice, it was male and it had an official ring to it, it might have been a PKO policeman. "I'm doing nothing. Now go away...please." Allik added the please for fearing she might get into trouble with the person.

"Alright Miss, i'm just doing my job that's all. Have a pleasent night now." The light turned away from Allik and faced to her right, and combed the rest of the beach and part ways inland as the owner to the light walked off. Allik turned to see who it was and was correct in thinking it was a PKO policeman. He walks off, re-adjusting his firearm on his left shoulder and dissapeared out of Allik's sight due to the fog. After the man dissapred Allik turned back towards the ocean, now out stretching her legs towards the sea. The bare bottoms of her boots getting the lap of a wave every now and then.

It was a long time 'till she moved again. At least as far as she cared. Finally tired of the ocean Allik gets up, grabbing the flashlight as she does, and heads back towards Crosia. She ctaivates the flashlight and shines it about 3 feet infront of her untill she get's into the city. There the steet lights lit up her path and she walked quietly through the light. Hugging her arms together due to a sudden cold chill brought in by a wind. She doesn't walk for long before she comes to the Inn where she is staying. Walking in and making a right she heads towards what the Inn calls a 'lounge' and walks in to see not very many people are there. maybe 4 others in total and 2 of them are spread out beyond anyone else.

Allik spots the fireplace which has a couple of chairs next to it. She walks over to the chair closest to the fireplace and flops down, laying her head back on the tall back of the chair she rests the flashlight on her lap and closes her eyes. The Lounge itself doesn't have much else, it looks like it should be a 4 star Inn but the lack of customers has driven the Inn to lower prices, greatly. The Lounge has, besides the fireplace and the few chairs next to it, a random collection of chairs and tables scattered around the room and a self serve bar with drinks ranging from Coffee to Juice, along with various Ales, Beers, and Wines; even some forms of Soda Pop.

Among the hotel patrons sitting in the lounge, most of whom had wholly unforgettable faces, was one man. He sat alone, in a corner of the room that had easy view of notoly the entire lounge but most of the lobby as well. He was Dressed in a rather plain Black shirt and matching slacks, and a red jacet was draped over the back of the chair where he sat. But perhapse most striking of all were the dark blakc shades he wore in an alredy fairly dim room.

He silently sipped at a very pale and sickly looking yellow beverage, a 90:10 screwdriver that fufilled the old joke of "orange juice for color," and carefully looked over Allik as she walked in from outside. He leand his head down a few degrees to look at her over his shades for a second or two, and then, seemingly satisfied with something, he pushed his Shades up and took a Sip of his urine colored screwdriver.
