Rules are simple...
Type 2. (We may make exceptions if you still use type 1)
16 people max, 12/16 preferred.
Vote for entrance fee, either 1 or 2 bucks a person.
You cannot switch decks upon tournament entry.
Maximum 15 cards allowed sideboard.
In the event of a 12 person tournament commence, the last 3 players will face off in a 3-way chaos. The winner will receive half the money accumulated upon entrance fee, and the two others receives a quarter each. This means that if you're in the finals, you will receive a prize, and the prize is the same whether you're second or third, and double that when you're first place. There is no trophy for this tournament.
In the event of a 16 person tournament commence, winner takes all. The final game will be a 2/3 win match.
If the commence is not 12 or 16 players, the tournament is played via ladder rules. You need a certain amount of wins to enter the final 8. 3 wins is ideal. You need not worry whom you'll face so long as you face 3 different opponents. Each time you lose, your opponent chooses a card that was played during your game, and is set aside. There will be only 8 positions to enter, so first come first serve, win 3 times as fast as you can. Then record your win with a host. Be sure to include your name, and your opponent's. Once accomplished, the tournament will proceed as normal, from 8 players to 4, to the final 2. Winner receives 3/4 of the prize money, and loser receives 1/4. After tournament is over, all cards set aside are returned to their respective players.
Note: If an winning opponent selected a card from your deck that he or she can utilize, that option is available.
Let's try this again next week. The 29th i think.
