Can someone tell me what the appeal of this card is? I mean, i can think of one combo: Slogger-Beacon of destruction

But honestly, I have to know if I'm the only one who thinks this is the most over-rated card in the block. I haven't seen anyone telling me a good reason for liking it. People say they like it for the endless Shock ability, but is that really worth losing card advantage.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I'd like to know. What's good about Arc-Slogger? Please tell.

its only good in block because block has alot of important small creatures (think BOP for land destruction, Disciple/frogmite,weak artificats-arcbound worker- for affinity, andmana accelerators for T&N, Slith firewalkers,etc)
Besides that its a 4/5 for 5 and can easily clear the way for ur own slith firewalkers and small creatures to deal those final points of dmg...
