There is a $4 entry fee per team, or $2 a person.
Sign up will be done on the forums, and it will be first come, first serve to 7 teams.
NOTE: This is because one team is already taken, there will be 8 teams there

Rules:
Each match is Out of 3 games
before each game starts each team designates who is Player A and who is Player B

The Format is that One team On Player A starts than The other team's Player A starts than the First team that started gets Player b to go than other team's player b...

Player A can attack only Player A and vice versa

SPELLS CAN TARGET ANYONE (For example, if Player B has a Shock HE can target Player A or his Creatures) BUT Spells that say stuff like "YOU may gain X life" is for the player that casts it and only him/her.

Each Player Starts at 20 life no shared blockers or shared life

we asked for signups on the forum and unless people DIDN'T READ THE WHOLE POST, the # of signups is currently 0 :( Come on people, there can't be anything better for you to do on a Wednesday night. In August.

how come sebastian said there were 2 signups and u say zero..

I've been asked by a few people about this, and so I'd just like to ask: will proxies be allowed?

No. No proxies in this one.

Just as a note.
This is hoe a proxy should look like
-You take a basic land and write on it in a black thin marker or pen.
-You must have the casting cost
-What type of spell (ex. sorcery, creature etc.)
-and then in the empty space the effect(s) of the spell will be writteni will upload an example.

There will be a vote for who wants tournaments wih proxies or no proxies. currently DCi- has allowed 10 proxies in there T1 tournaments. I will allow at most 8. Vote

im suggesting five proxies allowed. it gets too chaotic after that.

If about proxies please post in the forum with the vote for proxies.
I'll worry about the amount if they're approved. If they're approved i'm going to have another vote to see which amount is most suitable.

dont hold me on this but i think by "proxies" DCI allows u to put in a fake card (with the effects of the card ur proxying) PROVIDED that you have that card in your possession..

For example if you proxied 4 Chrome Moxes You Have to have 4 Chrome Moxes in your possession ...

The reason for this proxying is for cards that are in such bad condition (for example a EXTREMELY bent card) that the player can see where he put the card in teh deck at any time...

Another reason for this proxying is for valuable cards (eg. black lotus) that players do not want to put in their deck


again... i may be wrong but that is how i have seen "[proxying" been used

too lazy to edit and besides i dont want to make the top post look so long or ppl wont read it (and its importance)

i suggest we dont have proxies if u dont have the card its the fairest cuz if u dont have it u dont have the right to use it

I agree, but sometimes if you want to use cards but don't have oodles of cash, you may be trapped into the decision; like when you want to use a card like Ancestral Mask.
Replying to Tim's post regarding the nature of proxying, this is a new rule that I believe they instated upon the release of 5D, I'm not sure when exactly, but you don't need to own the card.

Vote for the damn proxy thing in the poll. If 70% votes yes then its apporved.
