The shame of it all is that the NBA is having its best season in years, has a lot of nice young stars, and the Knicks are on the outside looking in thanks to Isiah and Dolan. It looks like Walsh might go with my plan to clear cap room for the Summer of 2010. Then basketball would really be back in New York with cats like LeBron, Wade, and Bosh becoming available.
Walsh might also allow the head coach to hire Patrick as an assistant, which is something Isiah's ego wouldn't allow happen.
