Title: What was the first dolling site you discovered?

I found out about dolling through the Sims. I think I'd found some drag and drops beforehad, but it was only after visiting AV Squad (the first solling site that I'd ever been on) that I found out about 'proper' dolling. I used to download LOADS of things for the Sims and one of my favorite sites was called SimSisters. At some point, I decided to go through all their links and one of their affiliates was AV Squad. I was intrigued and so had a look around the site and followed some of the links to other places like Josie's Dolls. And that was it - I was hooked!

What about you?

I found a website that had neopets tips a long time ago and it had a drag and drop from doll palace... I checked out the doll palace and I was hooked...

I remember first coming across Palace drag-and-drops at Dollzmania, then I believe I stumbled over proper dolling sites occasionally after that. I'm going to guess it was either Dollz of Flavor, Angy-chan, or Stardust System. :)

I got bored one day so I logged into Dollzmania. I found a link to their forum and saw how other people made their own dolls, so I got wayuki's cinnamon base and had a go!

My sister and I found Dollzmania one day and then somehow I ended up on Angy-chan's site and it all spiraled from there. Sadly, my dolling/pixeling is non-existent at the moment >.< Summer zaps my creativity, isn't that odd?!

I found a drag and drop. I've got no idea whose it was, though. Pity.

But then I found Fairy Dollz and Josie's Dolls. It went on from there. :)
Oh! Don't forget about If Looks Could Kill! She was my idol. haha!

Me cousin came over for a week or so during the summer, and got on Dollzmania (I think that's the one) which I ADORED, and then when she left I looked up dress up games and got http://www.dressupgames.com and then some how I found more stuff and then I found Angy Chan, and Josie's Dolls, and Xandorra's Place, and I started making me own HIDEOUS dolls from Angy's lovely bases (makes me want to visit her site!) but not very often, then I found other girl's sites with doll contests and I created a site of my own, then I grew from there. 2004 was my main dolling year, I made probably over a hundred dolls.

big posty :drop:

Well, I was on a site about Sailor Moon. XD You could post your Sailor Moon based fanart on there, & someone posted some dolls one day :3
First bases I used were those Lolido ones, the ones that were stolen? & Then, of course, Angy-Chan bases. I just moved on from there :D

Fairy Dollz!! That was the very first one I ever stumbled upon. And then, a few years later, I found out that I had been posting on a forum where the owner, Marni, was a regular. I sent her message and thanked her for introducing me to the world of dolling, heh.

One of my friends was showing me a site with PSP brushes and it also had dolls and bases on it. It was called Jen's Goth Dolls. After that I found Josie and Angy-chan and Xandorra. :)
