Here are the general rules for Lost Lagoon. Please read them, respect them and follow them.
Remember that every forum will have its own specific set of rules, so please make sure you check those as well.

Articles of Lost Lagoon

Article One: Every man/woman shall obey commands.

Article Two: No one may have more than one account.

Article Three: Please only use full English when making a topic or replying to a post. No 'leet' (1337') or chat speak (replacing words with numbers eg '2' insead of 'to', or shortening words eg 'u' instead of 'you'). This sort of languge can become confusing, and we want to make sure that everone can understand what you post.

Article Four: Please keep everything (posts, dolls, art etc) PG13. For more information about how that concerns what sort of dolls can be posted, please see this topic.

Article Five: Any man/woman who attempts to desert shall be marooned.

Article Six: Frankendolling is not accepted. Frankendolling involves copying someone else's work on to your own doll, either through a straight copy/paste or by replicating it pixel by pixel.

Article Seven: Please do not double post.

Article Eight: No spamming. This invovled posting numerous messages on the board or sending out mass PMs attempting to, for example, get people to join your own forum/enter your contest/visit your site. This also includes posting just for the sake of upping your post count.

Article Nine: Any man/woman caught stealing shall have his/her nose slit.

Article Ten: Please do not direct link. This is when you display an image that is linked back to a site that is not your own (or your account on an image hosting website), and are therefore using someone else's bandwith. See this webpage for a list of image-hosting sites.

Article Eleven: Please do not redistribute bases in this forum. Visit the site where the bases can be found, or email the base-maker if the site is not available.

Article Twelve: Any man/woman who looses a limb shall recieve 800 pieces of eight.

Article Thirteen: Lost Lagoon should be a drama-free place. Please respect all the other members of this forum. No abuse, attacking, arguing, controversy etc will be accepted. Please don't pity-post, looking for attention from others.

Article Fourteen: Gambling with cards or money is forbidden.

Article Fifteen: LL does not accept the use of dolls on bases from Korean pixel art sites such as Candybar, Tokkida, Haduri and Misuya. Bases based on the artwork by Rion Vernon are also not accepted here.

Article Sixteen: Announcements concerning and adverts for other forums may be placed in your av/sig, but please do not post topics/replies concerning any other forums.

If you know or suspect someone is breaking any of the rules, please PM a mod. Do not take it up personally with the rule-breaker.

Rule-breaks will be dealt with by the mods. The member who broke the rules will recieve a PM and a reminder of the rule they broke.
Some of the more exteme rule-breaks, for example, someone found out to be frankendolling, may result in a suspension or even a ban.
