Grunge Text, Make Your Tex Nice And Grungey Looking.

Find an image of an old building or brick wall and open it up in Photoshop.

Ill use this image.


Now once your image is open you have to desaturate it (Ctrl+Shift+U) to turn it gray. Once your image is desaturated than go to "Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast" and use these settings "Brightness:-27 Contrast: +84" Now you have a nice grungy look to your image. Now if you dont already have the font "Broken 15" than download it "HERE". Once your text is typed select it (Ctrl+Click on the layer). Once its selected go down to the base layer (Your base image) and copy your selection (Ctrl+C will copy it)

Make a new canvas and turn the background to White (#FFFFFF) and paste what you copied from your last image.

Your Done, Heres my result.

Dude that's not that grungy. The text could have used a different font. It's too straight and it makes it just look different colors. The idea that you had was actually good.. and I kind of like the ending result because it is easy to make.. but the font you used ruins it..

You will need to download it from somewhere.

Try dafont.com
That's where I get mine from..

At the moment my computer is messed up and every font i download turns into .exe so youll have to wait for a preview with that font.
