Icons, How To Make An Icon In Photoshop.

This tutorial will show you how to make a nice icon for your website.

1.) Open a new canvas. 50x50 pixels and create a new layer.

2.) Select Rounded Rectangle Tool And Draw A Rounded Rectangle.


3.) Now go to Layer>Layer Style>Bevel And Embose and use these settings


4.) Now go to color overlay and change the color to:#8EBDD7
You Should Now Have This:

5.) Now Select Font: Webdings and type the @ smybol (Shift+2) Make The Font Size 30 You should now have a hammer. Place it in the center of the image.

6.) Ctrl+Click On the font layer, that will select the layer.

7.) Now go back down to the embose layer and hit the delete key. Delete the text layer and you should have this.



Your Done, You now have an attractive button for your site. Experiment with this tutorial and see what you can do.
