There are 2 parts to this tutorials, one for the colour of the car, the other is for the rims.

Were gonna take this 66 Dodge Charger and make it into a beauty of a machine.

Save this picture ^ and open it in photoshop.

Now select just the car, not the background, not the wheels, with your "polygon lasso tool" Like This.


Now hit "Ctrl+U" on your keyboard, make sure you have the color box checked when the popup comes up. Use these settings.


Make a new layer, and keep your car selected. Select the colour #00A77C.
Now click your "polygon lasso tool" and use these settings for it (Top left side of your top toolbar) That will make it so your selection is now subtract.

Now subtract the areas of the car so it looks like this.


Now on your top toolbar click "Select>Feather" Once it pops up use the radius of two pixels. and fill it with your colour #00A77C and set the blending mode to "Color Burn". You should have this.



Now on your base layer (the layer with the car), select your "Eliptical Marquee Tool" and make circles around the rims. Like this.


Now go to "Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast" Use these settings.
Press ok and deselect your rims. (Ctrl+D)
