LIES BETWEEN A FATHER AND SON MAY PREVENT HOUSE AND HIS TEAM FROM SAVING THEIR PATIENT ON "HOUSE" TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, ON FOX

When recent college graduate Carnell drops at a graduation party from internal shocks, he is rushed to Princeton Plainsboro Hospital. With his father Ken at his bedside, it becomes apparent the two have not been truthful with each other in their lives and their major trust issues affect how the medical team gets the information it needs to help solve Carnell’s case. Carnell soon develops other symptoms, and House’s team suspects it might be from a Spring Break trip out of the country, but have to dig deeper to get all the information.

Meanwhile, House has his own issues with his father and is trying unsuccessfully to get out of a dinner engagement with his parents when they arrive in town in the "Daddy’s Boy” episode of HOUSE Tuesday, Nov. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOU-205) (TV-14 D, L, S)

I am so excited!! I always wondered...Does House love his Mommy? What if she showed up? Apparently, there is a Fox promo with House answering the phone when they call but I have not seen it.

House really needs a--shirt that was doing the rounds here a while back, it said 'Mummy made me special'

Or the other t that said 'I don't need your friends... I have my chemical romance'


Sounds a cool ep - looking forward to seeing House's Auldies- interesting stuff! :)

According to what I've heard, House's dad is a retired marine (Not surprising since that is R. Lee Ermey's specialty.) That explains the big honking tatoo and ring (Ermey is actually a retired marine too so the tat is real! and probably the ring too.)

It looks like the it's at the hospital. Maybe House puts it off so much they decide to corner him at work?!

Last season I couldn't wait for 'Detox', so far this season this is my 'can't miss episode' I think having an ex-marine as a dad could explain a whole lot about House and why he didn't want his leg cut off.

Of course they'll probably address it in such a way that it will bring up 50 more questions. Damn them!!! :lol:

R. Lee Ermey - now that was a shocker. I was doubtful until I saw the pic because my experience of R. Lee Ermey is from the History Channel's Mail Call, which is mostly him shouting insults at the viewer and talking about the Marines (ooorah!). I knew about House's dad being former military, so it makes sense, but I don't know about Ermey's acting skills. However, I understand he was in Full Metal Jacket and that's way cool, plus IMDB tells me he's been in a -lot- of movies, so I'm thinking I like this casting choice.

Don't think I'll be able to get the image of him yelling at me out of my head though. (Perhaps this is part of the appeal of casting him.)
