Title: Synopsis for "TB or Not TB" (11/1)
Description: from the futon critic

QUOTE
When Dr. Sebastian Charles (guest star Ron Livingston, “Little Black Book,” “Sex and the City”), renowned physician and head of an international organization to fight the spread of tuberculosis among the poor in Africa, is rushed to Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital after collapsing, he immediately determines all the symptoms are from TB. Dr. House has a different opinion and requests additional tests to help determine the cause of his illness. The case begins to get media attention and Dr. Charles sees a chance to further his cause by refusing to submit to any additional tests and take necessary medication in order to gain media exposure for the inadequacies of the medical system for the poor in Africa. As House confronts his patient on live television, his medical condition deteriorates and the team takes over to try to save his life. Meanwhile, Foreman fills in for House in the clinic with disastrous results and Cameron sees eye to eye with Dr. Charles and his cause in the "TB or Not TB” episode of HOUSE Tuesday, Nov. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

***sighs*** Of course Cameron sees eye to eye with him.

Gotta agree, Lily. Cameron's going to think House is wrong--I think--in a sprit of vindictiveness. Of course we all know who's going to be right in the end. (Here's a hint: THE SHOW'S NAMED AFTER HIM!)

Foreman taking House's clinic hours should be fun, though.

Ah but to what disastrous results! And, maybe this means Cameron will run off to Africa with Dr. TB!!! We can only hope!

Man I can't wait until November!

House on tv should be cool (and on tv after the longest month in history) and Foreman in the clinic sounds promising.

Cameron and the patient as snark fodder for House should make for a good one. Better be lots of Wilson too.

Nice idea RT- although perhaps unfair to inflict Cameron on the poor of Africa, Dr TB more than sounds like he deserves such a fate.

The listings on tvguide.com available today has a slightly different note on the "Foreman fills in for House in the clinic" tidbit. Seems Foreman pisses off a patient while wearing House's nametag.

Heee.

(For some reason I couldn't copy over the phrase from TVGuide, but you should be able to access it yourself.)

Oh, wow, Cameron disagrees with House- for once. Of course it's out of bitterness and not because she's a real made up character with real made up feelings.

I don't get anti-Cameron people. When she's focusing on herself, she's wrong. When she's focusing on House, she's wrong. But when something comes up completely unrelated to either of those two misdeeds it automatically has something to do with one of them.

And you guys know those 1 and 3/4 episodes with no Cam sucked.

I think several people here as well as myself have expressed the opinion that the problem with Cameron is more a writing and character development issue than anything else.

But I'm beginning to think that all that jumping around is just what the writers want, it's planned and part of her personality.

I wouldn't say I'm anti-Cameron but she can be very, very irritating at times. She can also be very sweet and caring. She can also be very good at her job and does seem to be quietly learning from House more so than any of the others. But she can also be very bad at her job. She is human after all (in a strictly TV Show sense, I'm not nuts you know!).

Let me preface this next paragraph with my usual disclaimer... I'm not being confrontational, I'm just curious as to why you believe what you believe and why you think the way you think. I find that asking is sometimes the only way to see the other side of the coin. Besides it makes good conversation and that's what we need in this lull!!

So why are you Pro-Cameron? What is your attraction to her and if you're a shipper what makes you think she's the one for House?

Messiah - October 24, 2005 12:43 AM (GMT)
I don't think she's the only one for House.. I think Stacy is better for House then she is. I think that House on some level does like her, but they wouldn't work out as a couple. Actually, Cuddy might be good for House, but her and Cameron are such a better couple.

Yeah, she can be pretty irritating. I know when she conned House into a date, I was sitting there going "WTF?!" to myself forever. It was so.. shitty. I still can't believe she did that, in that way, at least.

I'm attracted to her because.. well, I guess because she's so flawed. I hate to admit that I am House's view of Cameron- I love to fix people. And plus, she's so sweet, and not to mention JM is a hottie, and I dunno, I just like her.

I'm pro-Cam because I'd like to think I understand her on some level.

And I just want to say I really admire how good you are at expressing your opinions. I need to work on my methods, lol.

P.S. Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I'm a little sick right now and I'm not thinking correctly.

I can't wait, but I have an opera to go to on tues. so I'm going to record it and watch it after the opera. I am really excited about the opera because I've never been but I'm also excited about this episode.
