Wow, rtlemurs! This chapter blew me right out of the water! LOL Magnificent--loved it. :D Just in case anyone hasn't told you this, yet, today: "You're good!" LOL
What a brilliant (and 'I don't mean that euphemistically' LOL ;-) ) look into the House/Wilson friendship and their interpersonal dynamics. I love the fact that House won't just *tell* Wilson what he's trying to accomplish. It's so House not to say, "Hey, I'm trying to hold off taking my Vicodin for an extra hour... Can you give me fourteen minutes, here?" LOL And, it's so Wilson to hang in there like a bulldog. LOL What a delightful--and meaningful--scene. :-)
When it comes to characters in different mediums, what the House/Wilson friendship reminds me of is the friendship between Frodo and Sam in "The Lord of the Rings." That rarest form of friendship that transcends everything else and holds true, right to the very ending of the world. Both Wilson and Sam have to deal with friends who are in unimaginable agony and bearing heavy burdens. Yet, they don't falter (even as they're not *without* faults). There is a loyalty, compassion, inner fortitude and goodness in them that is unbreakable. Wonderful stuff. :-)
You've really got the characters 'down,' inside and out. B) Can't wait to see where you take this, next... :)
Hugs,
Sanlin

You're making me blush! Thank you!
WOW, I never thought of the Frodo/ Sam connection. How did I miss that?! I've loved LOTR for 25 years now. Very good observation there :)
So true. Maybe that 's why I love the House/Wilson thing?!
I was looking it over and I know it's not proper writing, I know several high school English teaches that would have my butt for writing in and out of characters like that but I just thought it worked for that scene.
Thanks again. :D

I loved this one, of course!
It was funny, because I read the title, and said, "God, I hate grape lollipops, I always would get stuck with them because everyone else did too"
Then I read the story and saw that mentioned, and just started laughing.
Then I forgot what I had already read..and read it again from the beginning. :D
Great job, once again!!

I don't actually have anything against the grape ones but I had to pick a flavor.
 That's sooooo funny that this has crossed time and space and stolen your personal thoguhts on grape lollipops
Wooh that's funny.
Did I tell you I was telepathic? Hmmm must ahve slipped my mind ;)

Yeah, and cherry is my favorite as well.
I think you are telepathic when it comes to personal opinions on candy!

I happen to enjoy a good tangy cherry too, not that sickly sweet kind of cherry. The Pina Colada is a nice contrast to that so I guess I just put a little of myself in House's head. SSShhhhh maybe he won't notice I'm there ;)
