Title: Anyone have any questions?
Description: I'd be happy to try and help

I'm not going to say that I know everything there is about the show, but I'm pretty good at finding out. And I'd like to, as lame as it sounds, learn as many details (no matter how inane) about the show as I can. I figure being asked random questions might help me know what to look for.

You ever seen that show where they get three "geeks" who are all aficionados in certain subjects, ask them questions, and the one who knows the most about their subject wins? My friend wanted to be the SNL geek. I want to be the House geek. lol. :P

 Okay, so if you take away all the babbling, this translates to: "I want to be a House go-to girl-in-training."

So any questions, feel free to ask. And I'm sure the other members on the board would be happy to help as well.

(Did any of that message make any sense? )

Hey, it's great to see you venturing into the fray! :D I've got one for you.

In 'The Socartic Method' the camera angle insinuated that House lived in a 3rd floor apartment yet in 'Role Model' it looked like his front door opened right onto the street.

Which is it?

Heehee, thanks for the encouragement, and the challenge. Thankfully, I have both episodes at my disposal, and I will check that out. :D I'll get back to you a.s.a.p.

Well, after extensive checking, the only thing I can say is that you're right. He should live on the third floor, and his apartment door should open into a hallway, but instead, in Role Model, they must have slipped up and made the door open right onto the street or something. Because the street....... wait! I just noticed something.

In The Socratic Method, the angle implies that he's on the third floor by panning up the side of the building and showing an apartment with its light on, which, you would think would be House's. But when they show House playing, all his lights are off and the only light that's there is seems to be coming from outside. So the argument could be made that it was just a trick of the camera and really, his apartment is on the floor level.

Or it could just be a slipup. Because In The Socratic Method, Paternity, Damned If You Do, and Role Model, you can tell that all his furniture is roughly in the same spot every time, the walls are the same color and all that, so it's not like he moved without telling anyone. It's the same apartment with a really weird door. :P

Wow..... I feel like an anal retentive geek. lol.

Anyway, anymore questions would be appreciated. :D Hope this helped.

So you're saying he lives on the ground floor? Couldn't all that green be plants in the hallway and we are just assuming it's outdoors because of that?

I'll have to see what other anomolies and weird things I can have you chase down! This could be fun for me too! Heck it could be fun for everyone if they want to join in!!

I'll have to go check, but I'm pretty sure you can hear crickety/outdoorsy noises when he opens the door for Cameron. That door leads outside, not to a hallway.

As it stands, I suppose it's feasble that he lives on the second floor, but the building is built on a hillside and his door happens to open up-slope. *shrugs*

That's a really good point, actually. After looking at it, all you see is leaves, so it could be a plant in the hallway. It would have to be a very large plant, or multiple large plants, because Hugh is about 6 foot 2 and the plants are taller, it looks like. And it'd have be pretty large to fill the entire doorway view. And yeah, like TelegramSam said, there were some cricket noises, so you never know. Maybe his apartment shifts with his mood. lol.

I hope everyone joins in. I love doing the detective thing. It's so fun! Any anomalies and weird things are open. :P Do your worst. lol.

Hey House MD Fan and welcome!

Three stories? Most wonderful of wonderful of wonderful episodes but can be a tough confusing because for the first time toward the end of the first season we started getting sotry arcs as it became clearthe show had a future.

In Three Stories - House is covering the lecture just moments after running into Stacy, the dark haired woman. She gets a mention in Sports Medicine (Season 1 Ep 12) when Wilson arranges to meet her and later House tells Cameron he usedto live with someone. All though her mention was brief it was interesting Wilson chose to hide from House (in Sports Medicine) that he was meeting her and we get the impression that House still has feeling for her and that it all runs deep.

So Stacy shows up at the Clinic asking House to help with her huspand (House prior to this didn't know she'd gotten married but Wilson seems to have discovered when he and Stacy met up). So Stacy stirs up House's feeing about her and his leg and all the drama of the infarction which then become interwoven with his lecture.

Although House disguises the patient's identity it eventually becomes clear that he is telling his own story. We see flashbacks of Stacy and her role in his leg become apparent. She signs consent to have a major part of his thigh muscle removed and clearly this plays a part in their breakingb up. I don't know how much Season Two you've seen but hopefully this helps and I won't spoil anything for you.
