Okay so it sucked?!

Come on guys I can handle constructive criticism here! You can tell me if you didn't like it, stopped reading because I bore you, didn't feel it was plausible, whatever...

Hey, RT. :) If there's one thing I've learned about this Board (or any MB, for that matter), it's 'don't take lack of response as lack of interest.' LOL I *rarely* get feedback, but, that's okay. ;) Folks are busy, I guess. I'm just happy if they read the work and get some enjoyment out of it (supposedly LOL.) B) But, I do conscientiously *attempt* to give folks feedback when I read their material at this Board. :) I'm just very *behind* on my reading, right now, and am just slowly starting to catch up, again. :)

As for your piece, "Rats..." I like the idea of a bet, and young Greg being a bit of a bad ass/ prankster/ troublemaker. Shows some of what he's lost, now, too, that he isn't number 18, anymore, and can't run, free as the wind. I was a bit confused as to what the actual bet was all about. So, the 'payoff' element in the story wasn't quite there for me... we got the chase and the wrangling, but didn't get to see what it had all been about, really. And, I'm not sure about the other deal--pills for a stolen exam? Comes out of the blue, a bit, and isn't really explained. Are you suggesting Greg was an addict, even earlier on in his life? But, all in all, this was a nice little vignette. :)

Hugs,
Sanlin

I haven't read it yet. *ducks*

School sucks.

Anywho, don't feel bad, I never get any feedback here either. Try posting it to the housefic group on livejournal, they're usually good about leaving at least two or three comments a fic.

I read it! Feedback pending!

Sorry guys, I don't mean to whine but I was really hoping for some feedback on this one. I have some ideas on another fic and thought this one might tie in to it but wanted to kind of see what you folks thought of it before I start working on a bridge. Kind of a how much do I want to pursue this plot bunny right now when I need to tie up Tuition. So I guess it's tie up Tuition then move on.

I also worry that sometimes people don't leave feedback because they don't care for a piece and they don't want to be the bad guy and leave bad feedback. I really don't mind if someone says they didn't like it as long as they give a reason and don't get nasty.

Thanks Sanlin, Aud, and Sam. I know I can count on you guys and several of the other regulars for honest feedback! I've noticed not many people are getting feedback and I'm trying to get some of the lurkers to come out and post! It's okay, we won't hurt you!

Sanlin, I promise, once school is out and I have more time to play I will round up some of those songs and get listening to your parodies. I have been very bad on that and the poetry area. I know we are all busy and it's tough to get around to reading everything and finding the time to leave feedback, I'm behind myself so thanks for taking the little detour and soothing my ego :P  .

Sanlin as always you make me smile! You say all the right things and asked all the questions I was hoping someone would ask. That 'payoff' wasn't the important part it's the end exchange that's the key. And yes to that last question. That's what I was looking to tie into and wanted to see if it worked and people reacted to it.

Sam- I don't really want to take my fic elsewhere. I like it here and we have plenty of people here to give feedback Just need to figure out how to get them to do that. So it's not all me and my ego, I want people to react to everything they read here or at least some of it! If you all have an opinion express it you'll feel much better! :D

Aud- I eagerly await. Like Sanlin and the others I can always rely on an honest open and constructive response from you guys!
