I am in danger of committing TOPOGRAPHY to memory because I have read it that often. I am usually not enamored of vignette pieces. But guess what! This one blew my sox off! My sox, my Dale Jarrett hat, my shirt, my underwear. What a wonderful story. This type of beautiful "I respect you", "I admire you", "I might even be in love with you" sort of piece sends the shivers down my spine, and this is the best one I ever read. When Wilson lowered his head onto Gregg's shoulder and silently wept ... so did I. Sam, you were awesome on this one! Bets;)
