Okay, I can go on.

This is such an interesting premise for a fic: giving us the before, during and after of House's injury in a way I totally hadn't thought of before. I had never thought of such an accident being the cause of the infarction, but you've made it fit, and fit well. I really felt myself being sucked in.

Many fics that do time jumping in multiple sections like this tend to get wrapped around themselves and lost. Now, admittedly, I haven't read the second half yet, but I don't see that being the case here. It's very well thought out. (And long! Oh my gosh, I have such a weakness for lengthy fics, partially because I don't have the time and patience to write them myself. Kudos to you. :) )

Oh, and throwing in House's mother? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. What a sweetie she is.

I'm not sure if I totally buy your depiction of House's pre-infarction personality, but that aside, you've written a very very compelling and entertaining story. Can't wait for more! :)
