Title: Works with spagetti.

Seems that Chase has picked up a bit of House-esque snark in this episode.

Cameron's showing signs of House-infection as well; that "did he beat you? did he beat your mom?" bit of bluntness is very House, though poorly executed. Poor duckling needs a little more practice.

Oh and after this episode NO ONE can say that House doesn't care about his ducklings. He definitely got snippy with Chase's dad when he saw how bothered Chase was over the man's appearance, and I don't think it's just idle curiosity despite what he avers.

Oh yea, and House's pill-hunt was priceless. "Don't be afraid, little guy. You're home now." XD

Oh it's definitely more than curiosity. He ares about all the ducklings but would never admit it at least to them.

I thought the same thing when Chase said the spahgetti line. I'm like he's been hanging around House too long!

I also found it really interesting that House went to Wilson to get an answer right off. He knew that quickly what was up.

I liked the little exchange on the steps after House gets Chase Jr. out of the clinic. Chase said something to the effect of 'How would you like me poking around in your personal life?' House responded with something along the lines of 'I cleverly don't have one.'

Hmmm more deep truth there. Love that man.

I noticed that too, with Cameron. She was asking those questions just like House asked her.

We learned a bit more about Chase, which was nice. But, I have to wonder if he'll find out that House knew about his father. And what his reaction will be...I would probably leave.

I loved it when House said,"I gotta pee'.......my son was watching with me,(he is 14)and he cracked up big time,he also thought it was quite cool that House was playing with a Gameboy!

That was a great line...completely random.

I loved it when House locked the father out of his office.

"Is that supposed to be funny?"

It was such a sad scene when Chase finally decided to go to his dad and implied that he would be seeing him next autum, when we all knew his dad would be dead by then. :(

I liked it when Chase said "How would you feel if I interfered in your personal life?" and House responded "I'd hate it. That's why I dont have a personal life."

He also poked at Wilson's flirting agin. That was good too.

It's clear to me too that House does care about his 'Ducklings'. We all knew he did.

Yep, the 'I gotta pee' line is definitely top 5 House-ism material.

Again, we find another episode in where we find Wilson flirting with a pretty blonde accountant. Makes me wonder more about what happened in his first two marriages. hmmmmmmm.......

I was kind of hoping House was going to tell Chase about his dad's illness. There's a similiar situation going on in my family;my brother and my father had a fight and haven't spoken in 4 years. Despite their differences, if something should happen to either one of them, I know the other would want to know. I also think that Chase will figure out that House knew about his dad's illness and is going to be upset that House didn't tell him what was going on.

As far as bad parenting goes, the two in this episode wouldn't win any good parenting awards. Mom lets her kid lay sick in bed with a high fever for a week before taking him to the hospital and dad lies about being in Asia even though he suspects his son may have contracted something from him that he picked up in his travels. Then he has the nerve to jump all over House and his team and accuse them of not doing their jobs! I think this episode also established House's attitude towards the rich hospital donors in preperation for Chi McBride's character. He obviously doesn't have any respect for people who have a sense of entitlement just because they wrote a big check to the hospital.

By the way Jackie, I LOVE your avatar!

I can't believe House is keeping that from Chase either, ambragail.

If he finds out that House knew and never said a word, I wonder what his reaction will be. Obviously he'll be angry...but so angry that he'll leave?

And thanks for complimenting my avatar...I like it too
