Title: episode 6

I really liked this episode. It was interesting to see how Foreman dealt with the new ducklings and try to solve a case.

I loved the banter between House and the CIA lady.

I think my favorite scenes were when Cuddy came to Wilson and asked where he was, Wilson told Cuddy the CIA, Cuddy didn't believe him and made Wilson do his own clinic hours plus House's.

My other favorite scene was when House came walking into the clinic, Cuddy asks him where he's been, Cuddy tells him not to say the CIA, so he lies, Cuddy thinks he's telling the truth and he just walks away.

I do wish there was more of Cuddy/House and House/Wilson interaction.

what was up with CIA chick quitting her job and going to work for House??

I hope that the writer's aren't sacrificing RSL and Lisa E's airtime for the new duckling's airtime (the actors)..that would suck!!

Next week looks dang cool!!! :) Can't wait!! :)

God and peace

Yes, I too loved that House really was at the CIA and all the trouble he had convincing people of the truth. Speaking of the boy who cried wolf. . .

I was about to wonder about whether Cuddy had been visited by the body snatchers when she seemed about to accept House's excuse of helping a multimillionaire with his son's cold. We have ample evidence that personal wealth does nothing to impress House-- unless I suppose that wealth is going to become his, though even then, I'd like to think our boy would refrain from the special treatment-- given that he almost seems to give hospital donors who become patients more trouble than he gives his other patients.

Unfortunately, Foreman was wandering back into annoying territory for me this episode even though I did feel sorry for him having to try to wrest obedience from a bunch of people who just don't respect him. I did like that House called the candidates on their lack of respect though.

The whole episode did show again how much Foreman isn't ready to fly solo. Even in an environment that doesn't mind risk-taking he still doesn't quite have the knack. House makes multiple wrong guesses each week, but he knows how to spin it whereas Foreman doesn't. Also, what's with admitting being stumped in front of the patient? Honesty is one thing, but even I know you've got to at least give the impression that while you may not have an exact answer everything is firmly under control.

Interesting to see House outside of the environment he's used to working in too. I like how he recognized the other guy for writing a (I assume) textbook on immunology and the guy's getting ready to receive his "strokes" for it and House reveals that it's holding his piano level (as viewers of course, we all knew House wouldn't have anything nice to say about it, but I was expecting an itemized list of what House felt the other guy had gotten wrong).

I have to say that while I'm really not a prude--okay, yes, I am-- the vulgarity was a little over the top. We all know House has a dirty mind-- okay, despite being a prude, I have a dirty mind-- but this was a little much. I just don't think House would be that lacking in subtlety even if it was for a purpose.

Also, so cool that House could determine what country his patient had really been in by the length it celebrates Carnival. I just wish all the useless trivia in my mind would come in handy like that once in a while.

I also didn't see that coming with MSF man having an agenda with treating Polio. That was freaky. And I am glad that House wasn't really going to let him get away. Also more proof that House does have standards when it comes to abusing patients.

Cool episode. I would rather have had Tight-Lipped Agent as a regular character than CIA!Doctor Barbie, though. (We brought in forty new cast members and we still have to add more? No one else would have done, House?)

Poor Foreman. It's no fun when the kids all rebel and then turn out to be right. Abroad Doctor's scheme came out of nowhere, but I thought it was kind of neat.

Cuddy's giving Wilson clinic hours was funny, but didn't make a whole lot of sense. I can forgive that, though, because I want to see Wilson in the clinic. Am I crazy for hoping that one of the patients he sees in the clinic will be a significant part of an upcoming episode? I love me some continuity.

Weirdly, my least favorite part of this episode was House's constant sex humor. It's not that it was bad dialogue, exactly, but he did so much of it, to the exclusion of everything else, that it got wearisome. Also, I hate it when a new female character's "hook" is that she has zingy comebacks for sex humor. So maybe that was it.

House has "Cutthroat B****" actually programmed into his phone!

I'm glad we had a "House alone with a patient" scene again. I like those. And a scene where he gets to storm into a room and call everyone an idiot, and be right. I like those too. ^^
