*cries uncontrollably*

1) there, there -- don't cry! It's Sunday morning, so we prob'ly haven't had too much traffic -- everyone's either at church or hung over ;) ;) ;)
2) I saw the artwork. You should have seen my jaw hitting the floor! TOO FUNNY!

Cute! LOL I like how you can tell which 'Duckling' is Cam... LOL
Yeah, Sundays (and even Saturdays, sometimes) tend to be days when folks are out doing stuff. B)
Hugs,
Sanlin

It should be obvious which one is Foreman and which one is Chase as well.
At least, I hope it is. O.o

Why is Cameron staring at House's 'tail feathers'? lol I love Foreman, all "grrr". That artpad thing is so much fun!
TelegramSam - February 28, 2005 03:08 AM (GMT)
What? She's not! At least, I don't think she is. Who knows, maybe she likes his tail feathers. I do. ;) Seriously though, if you look at where House-duck's feet fall and where Cameron-duckling's tail feathers sit, he's slightly behind her, so she's not actually staring right up at his caboose.
Actually I was thinking more of a toddler wanting someone to pick them up when I drew that one, that's why House is looking askance at her (and the rest of them as well, being guilty by association).

That is so cool, Sam!
I don't know why watching the thing draw itself is so funny, but it is.
My favorite is Chase, cause he looks all happy and 'no worries'-like, could be splashing in a pool or something. I love that you captured Foreman's facial hair in duck form, as well as his pessimistic, angry look--that seems hard to do. Cam looks so young as a duck, and cute! And House looks delightfully evil--wonder what he's scheming.
Is Wilson an honorary duckling? If so, can we see him too as a duck? I'm totally curious about what that would look like. :)
Great job, Sam, very cool! Me likey much much. :)

He's probably scheming to spurn Cam-ducky's please for cuddles and thus make her cry.

Oh. Squee. That is the cutest/wonderfullest (hee, I made up a word) thing ever!
I heart it, like whoa.

That is really cool! I just saw it tonight and I sat my kids in front of the computer and started it again. They squeeled with delight.
Thanks!

That's so cool!
I love the way the drawing paints itself. It's very neat-o.

I loved the picture! That is so cute! Question, though.
Where did the whole 'duckling' thing start? On the show I mean. I don't know and it's driving me nuts.
Anyone got an answer?

wow...you're uber talented loved the pic btw.

My understanding of the duckling reference is that someone over at TWoP (Television Without Pity) made a reference to House's hand picked group of doctors as ducklings because they followed him around. It stuck and thus they are called the ducklings.
I don't know how true that is but it sounds like something someone over there would come up with.
mt83 - October 17, 2005 02:07 PM (GMT)
That was so good!!! House as a big duck with a cane...LOL That was cool!
Taruia - October 17, 2005 04:58 PM (GMT)
on the Television Without Pity boards, a person over there said that young doctors, like Cameron, Chase, and Foreman, who work under another "better" doctor are called ducklings, by other doctors, I think this is where it came from, because that's the first place I saw it. And well you can tell that the name stuck!

That's a cool site, I made a picture but then I lost it. It's a guy in a yoda costume ok only his head yoda's colors are wrong and it's crap. so if you find one like that cuz you get bored and decide to browse the gallery that's mine.
