Title: Halloween

prplchknz - October 23, 2006 03:51 PM (GMT)
SO what's everyone doing besides watching the new episode of House?

I have a party to go to on Saturday so I'm going to miss Hugh on SNL hopefully there will be a torrent that I can download. I have no clue what I'm going to go as, went to a Halloween store and nothing peaked my interest. Besides the costumes were over priced and cheaply made. My one friend suggested I go as God, since we have an on going inside joke about me being God, him being Moses, my other friend my the Holy Spirit, and another friend being Jesus. Sadly they're all in Memphis and if I did that I would have liked to be with them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

PS-I just found spell check for the Internet.

I usually go as a serial killer (you know, just dress and look perfectly normal. No really, that's a hard thing for me! ) but that is getting old and folks just don't get it without the whole big explanation and it really isn't that funny to begin with.

I thought about going as Ted Kazinski (The Unibomber). dark hoodie, sunglasses and carrying a box around asking people to hold it then walking away. But I'd have to explain that too so I'm fresh out of easy ideas. I probaly will just snuggle in for a new House episode and be done with it until next year.

Ugh, I don't know what I want to be. I think its stupid to dress up, but people make me which is mean. I don't care that much about the holiday just the parties. I hate carving pumpkins and don't have that big of a sweet tooth not to mention people always think they have the best costume and most orginal, when most of the time its been done a thousand times. I hate halloween. I hate holidays except thanksgiving, which I don't have to get people gifts who I don't care for but am obligated to. of course I do have to be with my family which isn't fun. I love my family they're great as long as their in a different city. Also the not wearing a costume is a plus. I made the mistake of having my family up for my birthday which is a week before thanksgiving then going home the next week for thanksgiving, I should be a little more careful about those things. I do get to see Wicked for my birthday.

*grumpy because she can't figure out a costume*

I'm not going to do anything for Halloween this year, but a few years ago I dressed in a big black hoodie with the hood up and painted my face like Darth Maul from Star Wars and assumed the appearance of a mannequin on the front porch while the kids would come to me for the candy I held in my lap. They couldn't see my face until I lunged at them. (The problem was that I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see very well. On one of my last lunges, I threw/dumped the candy into the bushes on accident.)

I like Halloween if only for the thrill factor. ;)

Even though I'm 23, I'm half tempted to try trick-or-tereating one last time. :ph43r:

:D As far as costumes, I would really, REALLY like to try going as House. I could even get one of those orange M&M minis tubes and fill it with TicTacs. I think I have a cane somewhere in my basement.

Otherwise, I might spend Halloween in Hell. (If you know Michigan, we really do have a town called Hell.) http://www.hell2u.com/

Yea I heard about that one of my friends in highschool was told when hell freezes over. and he was like "Oh, but it has"and went on to explain about Hell,MI

Is michigan the hand state cuz I was asking this kid where he was from and he pointed to his thumb, and I was confused. SO I was like "You live on your thumb?" I thought he was crazy then met more people from Michigan (if that's the right state)

SO my costume is black lipstick, and white make up and a hoodie (no clue what I am but it's a costume) hopefully no one asks

I'm dead that's all I've figured out. I need to quit being dead every year I end up dead.

Prplchknz,

Yes, Michigan is the hand state. Though I haven't mastered this art of describing my location.

LOL! I was so going to do that at our Celebrity Day at school, but then long story short, school got all but canceled and...yeah. Oh well. Lol, last time I went as Harry Potter I got some really weird looks, so I don't think I'll ever go as a guy again. Not trick or treating anyway.

I was force to dress up as a guy in 7th grade, of course I was force to go clothes shopping, and didn't have a chance to change. So I got looks from people cuz I did look like a boy I was wearing my brothers blazer and a tie with khakis and a button down shirt. Needless to say I cried from embarassment. My mom didn't get why I was crying...

I'm going to Chapel, and both my classes and I'm going to have to miss watching House as much as I'd LOVE to watch it, I have a spanish test the next day. I wonder if House can be my spanish prof. instead?? hmm.. LOL. I don't think I'd get any work done during that class ;)

God and peace
Vanessa :)

I'll probably be studying or practicing or something. ^^ I really shouldn't even take an hour to watch House that night (deadlines! How on Earth is it November already??), but the doc wants me to slow down anyway, so I'm going to waste time and watch...the other doc. ;)

But I'm betting my RA'll pass out candy to our hall, so I'll get something sweet. :)

I have no clue. I have to do my midterm paper for Eng by Thursday. I haven't even begun or thought about it except "I have a really big paper due Thursday"Then read fan fiction, watched TV, slept, or ate. I don't think I'm gonna be sleeping Wednesday.

Dr. Xreader... I hope you did! I still do on occasion and did well into my thirties! Of course I've lived in the same small town and are since I was a kid and we always go back to the small town to do this. Everyone knows our little group of pranksters and are generally amused. Of course there is the occasional new resident that has to be initiated but we take it easy on them city folk!

And, prpl, I had the best costume this year. I went as the invisible man. It was so good I actually had to send out an email to let people know what my costume was and to remember, just because they couldn't see me didn't mean I wasn't there.

Actually I wasn't at work yesterday but I did get entered into thhe costume contest and almost won. Those darn smart folks figured out the scam and wouldn't vote for me!

My English professor thinks I should invest in a bunny costume. People made the comment that I could wear it next year so I told them that it was my dream to show up to class every time in a bunny costume! I hate Halloween.

Then he told us about his drunk polish neighbor who gets tazered all the time, after telling us about a fight that happened between two people in animal costumes outside his apartment at 2 in the morning.
