Well, since my challenge has "officially" expired :( (anyone who is still working on a fic, please, please, please go ahead and finish and post! No biggie :D ) it's time for another one.

I haven't any ideas but I thought I'd give this place a poke and see what everyone else is thinking. You don't have to be a writer to issue a challenge. What do you as a fic reader want to see? What situation have you thought of that no one has written about yet. Or that some one has but just didn't pull it off.

Maybe we should get a few challenges going at a time so if one doesn't pique your interest, another might. Yes? No?

Also, do you think we should start promoting this elsewhere? Are we ready? I think we're as ready as we ever will be. B)

I am going to start posting the challenges and the resulting fics on the dr-house.com mainsite. I'll start with Benj's "Guilt" challenge and post the responding fics.

Let's see if that generates any interest outside of this forum. I'll also make mention of it in the other place I visit regularly. Anyone else have places they frequent that seem appropriate, please feel free to drop shameless promotion! :lol:

I kinda would of loved a wonderfalls/house fic challenge. I doubt anyone on here knows about that show.

We always see House make a prediction or a bet with the others and always winning. I would kind of like to read House making a bet of something with Wilson and Wilson winning.

I like cakemixo's challenge better.

BTW I mean have Jaye be the POTW and have it be platonic, but the the characters from "Wonderfalls" and "House" characters would make a hilarious episode.

Sorry prpl, I'm not familiar with Wonderfalls. and crossovers are hard fic challenges because although we all love House we may not be into the other show that is suggested.

Maybe someone can adopt it on it's own and write you a nice little fic.

And I too like Cakemixo's suggestion. Shall we make it official?

I'm not suprised that people haven't heard of it, considering Fox only aired 4 of the 13 episodes. I really wish that a network would pick it back up or at least offer so their could be possibly a 2nd season.

Cakemixo, if you want ot go ahead and just make a new "#3" topic with the challenge and a due date, that would be great.

And Prpl, I'll have to see if I can find the DVD's and check it out. I actual have an idea for a crossover fic that is still very much in the "Hmmm, that would be fun and interesting" stages.

Someday I'll work it all out :unsure:
