Title: Hi, I'm new

Hi all! I'm a newbie. I'm from the US and have been watching House since the middle of the first season namely "Poison". This site was linked off a House transcripts page and I looked through it a little and I want to take the plunge. I'm a little slow at this but, I can't wait to get started!

Well, welcome! Happy to have you and I hope you find this place to your liking. We've got a really great bunch of people here and lots of intersting topics to explore.

Take your time and feel free to resurrect old topics, start new ones or ask questions.

So, why did you start watching House? I'm always interested in hearing how people discovered and subsequently became addicted to the show.

Enjoy!

My dad started watching it first. He introduced me to it saying he thought I would like it. I did! I'm a fan of Sherlock Holmes, a mystery is irresistable to me. I am also a Biology Major and Chemistry minor. A few of the diagnostics they preform I have done in one lab or another. It also doen't hurt that the main charter House is also dynamic and amusing. What got you into watching House?

Cool, sounds like your Dad knows you well! I loved Sherlock Holmes when I was a kid, still do really but haven't read any or watched any in soooo long. I'll have to dig some out this summer and get back into that.

Uh-oh, more smart people, I'm in trouble! :( ;)

I saw the commercials for House and I thought, Oh hello there, who's that cute guy?! Then I actually listened to the commercial and thought hey, that sounds like an interesting show too! Then the final straw, one of the commercials mentioned Hugh Laurie and RSL and I just had to watch!!

I tuned in halfway through the first episode and have been watching ever since! Let me say that I have not been disappointed!! I even contemplated running out to the electronics store by the mall once when the power went out on a Tuesday just so I could watch!! And I would have but by the time it occured to me and I'd have gotten dressed and gotten up there it would have been over with so...
I missed "Maternity" first go 'round but that's been it.

Every episode, every repeat, I even stay up on Friday nights and watch the ones on USA! Although I'm not as militant about the reruns.
