I just started watching House, and i love it!! This was a great episode. This was my husband's first episode to watch. I have a question about the tick hunt. My dear husband, who is always right, insisted that there were two ticks on the girl. One was in her hair and the other... well you know. I told him they never found the tick until the last second in the elevator and that was the only TICK! I am waiting for the transcript to see who is right. Anybody out there have my answer for me???

There was only one tick. He didn't find any ticks in her hair, just dandruff. :P

Didn't he think he found a tick in her hair (or pretend to find one) and then make some kind of comment about how that would have been dramatic?

only one tick--House would have not been looking down there if he had already found a tick in her hair. Remember his theory was that boy friend came in with a a tick not a couple of ticks. The only way it would have been possible to find two ticks is if they had found a tick earlier in the episode and the girl continued to have complications--although if that was the case they probably would have come up with a different theory. Also the finding of the tick would not have happened in the last five minute of the episode.
