Description: my introduction

Hi, all!

I just joined today so I could post an interesting article I found (it's in the Jesse Spencer forum).

My youngest son (23 already) got me hooked on House this season, and I've been visiting sites like this trying to catch up. I didn't watch the show last season because the commercials made it look like some kind of supernatural occult bizarre thing. One night I watched it with my son, and wondered why on earth I believed the stupid commercials.

I'm on the waiting list for my local library's copy of season 1.

I live in upstate New York, have 3 kids (28, 26 & 23), am actually older than Hugh Laurie (I'm older than rock and roll) and I am a huge fan of mysteries.

Sorry for the delayed welcome! :(

It's great to have new fans and we are glad you've found us. Give your son a hug from us for getting you addicted!! :D

You are going to have so much fun catching up. No breaks for the holiday's or Baseball or whatever whim FOX gets for taking House off for a few weeks! Just straight through, non-stop, bliss.

Please feel free to revive some of the older topics in the episodes forum (or any of them for that matter) as you watch and have comments or questions. I love looking at the season one episodes in a new light.

Cool! I love the wide age range this show attracts! :D and another east coaster (kind of. I'm in Ohio and I consider that east coast for get together purposes). Once again, I'm glad you found us and I hope you enjoy us and hang around. I know you're still new to us and the show but we are working on organizing a get together this summer. Nothing has been decided as far as locale or date but you're more than wecome to join this crazy bunch when we do!

As I tell all the new folks, if you have any question, comments or suggestions please feel free to email me or any of the other mods.

Enjoy!

Thanks all of you for the welcome! I've discovered that USA Network is playing last season's episodes in order, so I'm managing to catch up on the later episodes while I wait for the DVDs.

My daughter was a huge fan of House last season, but she moved to a new apartment, and no longer gets Fox! Poor kid! I'm saving episodes so she can watch them when she comes out for Easter.

I'm definitely enjoying the conversations here. At least most of them that I've found so far are of the intelligent type and not the slurpy, mushy oohing and ahhing over ... well ... over whatever folks ooh and ahh over!

Joanne (still not too old for the occasional oohing and ahhing.)
