If Wilson is already paying out on two previous marriages, as House mentioned in Spin, isn’t he going to have some major alimony payments to find? Is it also likely that wives One and Two, plus Julie as House seemed to be suggesting in Clueless, have significantly less or no contributory income? I’m figuring the model used in the States isn’t vastly different to the UK. My parents split and because my mother earned as much as my dad, he only had to pay maintenance for us and nothing directly to her. But if none of Wilson’s ex-wives had independent income and he has to pay to keep them in the ‘manner to which they have become accustom’ then surely its going stack up. I know he’ll earn a whack as Head Of Oncology but its going to make a big dint after the three chunks are divvied up. Don’t think he’ll be dancing down the aisle again in the near future. :)
