Good backstory. :) Chase is good at 'staying under the radar.' Probably learned it from his we-take-the-*fun*-out-of-dys*fun*ctional family. LOL He always strikes me as the Duckling shooting for the 'gold star'/'good boy' sticker, too. LOL He's the one who 'pipes up in class...' ...even when he doesn't necessarily have the answer (or the correct answer.) He's approval-seeking, while Cam doesn't trust herself, yet, and seeks validation from House. And Cam's just going to be Cam... warm n' fuzzy. LOL Good chapter. :)

Ooooh, House is gonna be pissed!

I like the progression of the story and that you reveal a good dose of Cameron's take-charge/from the heart attitude. The back-story is so helpful in understanding the characters and their motivations. (I know you know that - just stating the obvious!)
