Title: Hi there!

Another one new to this forum but not to House or Hugh Laurie fandom. I've been a Hugh fan since I first saw Blackadder and Jeeves and Wooster. I've managed to see most of his work--or at least what has been shown here in the U.S. I even managed to catch "All or Nothing at All", but alas did not keep a tape of it as our VCR was broken. That was my first inkling that Hugh was a fantastic dramatic actor as well as a fantastic comedian.

Anyway, not to be long-winded (yeah, right), but I've been lurking here quite a long time and finally decided to join, as you always have good discussions after an episode. I would have joined sooner, but I have been trying not to add to my "regular" sites as I spend far too much time on the 'net as it is. My mom calls it "fiddling around on your computer". I tell her at least it keeps me off the streets. :)

Hello! I'm new myself here, too. Isn't Hugh Laurie one of the greatest? :D

I'm a big fan of Blackadder, too. That was my first taste of Hugh Laurie's comedy and I very quickly fell in love with it.

Hey and welcome!! :D

Really glad you decided to join the 'madness' and hope you enjoy it! :D

'All Or Nothing At All' was great and possibly, think it predates Peter's Friends, I totally agree that it was the first time Hugh got to show he had the House role in him. My mother threw all my old vids out a while back and I was gutted when I realised that it had disappeared to gread landfill in the sky.

Cheers

Benj

I came late to the game and got hooked from his role as Mr. Palmer in "Sense and Sensibility" Which isn't such a stretch to House. But after viewing him as the Prince Regent in Blackadder I can see how people would have a very hard time believing it's even the same guy!!
