For those wishing to enter a class that is organised by this club they will need to register their horse with us for a one time fee of £10.00. This then enables us to check that your horse is actually an ex race horse and a certificate and registration number will be given to you, then we don't have to check on your horse again as along as you bring your certificate along to the show with you.
Once you horse is registered he/she will then be entitled to enter any class in the future that has been organised through us. If you wish to register your horse please download the the application form below and return it to us with your payment. For those entering any of our classes. Our rules and judging guidelines are as follows: HORSES MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE EX RACERS CLUB BEFORE ENTRY Any knocks bumps scars etc are to be ignored. Boots are also allowed. Any tack is permitted except gadgets. Horse is judged on their condition and muscalature. Horse is also judged on its general way of going and adaptability to it's new career. Horse is to be over the age of 4 for ridden classes. Any horse that is considered lame by the judge will be asked to leave the arena with no return of entry fees. The judges decision is final. Registrations are normally completed within 7 days. However during the busy showing season when we recieve a larger amount of new registrations they can take longer. Please also note if you are unsure if your horse has raced or been in training then your registration could be delayed if you do not include any proof of this as we may either have to try and look this up ourselves which will take some extra time and we may even have to ring you to request more information if we can not find it ourselves. Please remember just because your horse may be weatherbys registered it doesn't always mean it has been in racing or in training and if this is the case your horse is NOT eligable to register. We do take point to point horses with proof of racing. If you are in doubt or haven't received your certificate then please email your registration queeries to exracers@horse-directory.co.uk stating your horses name. Please ensure you fix the correct postage stamps to both envelopes. Attached File ( Number of downloads: 616 )
