Potters Heath, Nr Knebworth Hertfordshire.
A tatty white horse lorry with blacked out windows (no number plate, and even if there was they would have been false), watching our geldings field for the last couple of days.
Description of the occupants Male with a heavy build, teenage lad and girl.
This afternoon one of our owners went down to get her horse in, to notice that the lorry, (with the loading ramp down) had managed to separate the coloured horses away from the rest of the horses and were trying to entice them over to them. Luckily they ran off when the owner approached, and we are just glad that nothing was taken. It seems that they knew exactly what they were after!!!! The local police have been made aware, but there is only so much they can do, so really it's down to us horse owners to make a stand......and try and prevent as much as we can any possible thefts.
A general warning just to get people to be on the look out would be good.
If you see anything matching this discription, contact herts police.
OMG :JAWDROP:
thats scarey, in day light too
:JAWDROP: thats a horrible thought, glad they were caught in time, lets hope they don't get away with it anywhere else
How can these monsters sleep at night ???
My horsewatch rep phoned me yesterday and warned me because there are 3 coloureds on my field. Lauren is now panicking as pinkie is coloured and wants to sleep down there with him. Told her she can if she wants to share a bed with the rats. :JAWDROP: Hertfordshire seems quite a long way away from Nottingham but you never know.
