Well, it wouldnt be Ardsley show without the :SINKING:
It managed to piddle it down for most of the day again, but there was still a good turn out, including the  Tiger ( i have a tiger shaped bump on my head Sara).
Anyway, reason for the post :ILOVEMYHORSE: Saffy won the in hand with some lovely comments from the judge (who i did know, i used to be stabled with her in sheffield, but didnt realise it was her until we were in the ring)
Pips mum came 2nd, but im not sure of the line up after that, sorry, and due to the horrible weather i gave the ridden class a miss and went home to dry out.
I hope Tiger and Myrtle got home ok.
Congratulations and well done, Saffy, Pip, Biker and Tiger. : CELEBRATIONS : THUMBeS THUMBeS THUMBeS
And I really admire all of you for braving the weather, too ( Afraid I wimped out :( ) Do we do an ERC medal for Courage and Endurance ? Perhaps we could start offering some appropriate prizes, too - a crate of industrial strength Benelyn ? 50 boxes of tissues and a kilo of Nightnurse ? Swimming lessons......?
we got home safe and sound and had great fun even in the torrential rain.
Tiger thought the whole showing lark was a bit dull without the jumps and we had to check for a pulse a few times!!
Shame Myrtle didn't get to strut her stuff (she's obviously heard the weather forecast!) but she'll be there next time THUMBeS when we hope to do well in the breaststroke and front crawl classes! :SINKING:
Well done all for braving the elements - when it rains at Ardsley, it rains!
:o Poor old Pip - after getting soaked about 3 times, when we went in for the Ridden TB class he was unlevel for some reason so we had to withdraw (glad to say he's fine now and enjoying playing in the mud).
