Had this email today from South Yorkshire Police

Stolen - 20 or so saddles stolen from our yard in West Yorkshire in the early hours of 8th January -

17½" Lux dressage saddle, brown darker "elephant hide" pattern flaps, plain leather seat and knee rolls. Stamped "I WEST" under right flap. Med fitting.Prior to Albion (?) buying Lux name

the list of the others stolen is as below:
17½" Albion dressage saddle, black suede seat, leather flaps. Slight wear on suede nap.
Flair air pad black was attached to the above
17" County dressage saddle, havana
17" Spalding dressage saddle, black
17" Albion dressage saddle, black leather and suede
17" Derby house dressage saddle, black
17" Frank Baines dressage saddle, black
16" Manor Working hunter saddle, black
16" Jeffries Working hunter saddle, havana (narrow)
16" Stubben GP saddle, havana leather and suede
15" Fylde show pony saddle, havana? nearly new - looks brand new
15" Maxam GP synthetic saddle
15" Shire Working hunter saddle, havana
14" - 15" pony × 4 saddles, brown, various, old

Sundry old brown lumps that lurk at the back of the tack room - no distinguishing features!
All taken with stirrup, some with girths, some with numnahs

The police in Heaton were informed - their contact number is 01274 376259 and the crime reference number is HA/05/373

how horrible but i know how it feels .i used to own a yard with about 30 horses on and all our tack got stolen it was a year or so back now but the persons who robbed our yard must of known it well becauce there are places that people woultnt find unless they were shown.

Might have benn same people that did us over three weeks ago all riding school tack.
Oh well its only 2 years in a row i've been robbed it was on a different yard last time tho.
