Well the b**tards have struck again.

Got to the yard this morning and all the wheelbarrows, forks and brooms have been lifted - but they have left all the poop scoops!!

Looks like I'm going to have to leave everything at home again - such a nightmare!!

Why they wanted those I have no idea - worth nothing!!

What a great start to the day :(

How awful, at least it wasn't your tack or something though.

We had someone try breaking into the farmhouse the other day, tried to get in through the front window, until they realised there are CCTV cameras set up on the farm and pointing straight at them, looked at the tape and it was kids with hoodies (surprise), :ph43r:

We are definately thanking our lucky stars that they didn't get in the tack room - although I don't keep my tack at the yard, all my rugs/boots and other general tack is in there - coming home aswell now.

It's just such a pain in the a**e!!!

I wish we could somehow wire the locks and doors to the mains electric - I'd love to see their shocked faces

Hi Dellage

You could wire them up to a fully charged tractor battery - that will give them a good shock too !!!!

B**tards now in Hemel Hempstead area. Came before 10pm last night, broke into barn though slated window in ponies stable. Which was so scared he jumped door which had weaving bar on it, now very sore & having to live in spare stable (as finds his much too scary!) Also hit dogs that also live in barn!! Wish I could get my hands on them!

They raided three lorries taking: 2 4'6 ramdo stable rugs ,6'6 mark todd stable, 2 stop watchs for eventing xc, Comb TV DVD, Kyra K 3in1 jacket, Assortment of 4-4.5" bits min10, heat lazer gun for checking for injury. plus lots more.

Only seemed to take clean rugs but also took all our bedding for when we do over night shows (must think it would keep them warmer being stolen)

All I hope is pony gave them a good kicking & the dogs bit the f*** out of them as well!

I too think it would be a good rig up some electric & fry the b**tards. But would more than likely forget & fry myself!!

Who can blame anyone for wanting to shoot the low life theiving scum!!!

:Guilotine: Even better!!!!

I also think they are scum nono . I am glad that i used to keep my horses at home, and that they where behind electric gates.

I must admit that we had 2 stone plant pots stolen from outside, One day they where there, the next 2 days they were gone. I wouldn't mind but they were a wedding prestant for my mum and stepdad.

How sad people are to nick such silly things!!!! Folks, brooms wheelbarrows what ever next plants out of pots!!!!! :( :(

I am glad that nothing else was nicked. I hate people like that! nono

But with xmas coming up everbody should watch out! Not just down the yard but also shopping .They will all be having a good xmas on our behalf : CELEBRATIONS :

We think someone tried to get in our lorry the other night as the handle to the living has been broken. Luckily nothing was taken, hopefully the dummie cctv camera put them off.

someone did take my breeze block mounting block from outside my gate that I used to get on trojan with. Now have to wait for someone to be at field to let me out the gate before I ride.

In Redditch a local riding school had £30,000 worth of tack, rugs etc go in one night last week. They basically took everything. They couldn't even catch the ponies in the morning cos they even took the headcollars! They had stolen a van locally then dumped it in Leicestershire.

Our place is alarmed and the farmer comes out with a shotgun to check the premises if it triggers. We had alarms three nights in a row over the summer, but because the farmer always came out to check, they left our yard alone, but did about six others in the area, including the lorries!
