Title: If you had a theme song...

Lord Rahl - January 9, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
If you had a theme song for the different situations in your life, what would they be?

When I wake up, Also Sprach Zarathustra! More commonly known as, the theme to 2001: Space Oddysey.

When I am walking, the music in Ben Hur when the men are rowing.

When I am driving, Mona Lisa Overdrive by Juno Reactor and Don Davis. More commonly known as, the song in Matrix: Reloaded when they are driving on the highway.

I will post more when I...think of more!

Waking up: Initial credit trumpet fanfare from The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn. Hoorah, I'm alive!

Walking: Roman March from Ben Hur.

Driving: Nobody's Gonna Shut You Down, by Jan & Dean.

Evening: Brandenburg Concertos by Bach (all of them).

Going to Sleep: Various themes from Die Gotterdamerung, by Wagner. Will there be another fanfare?

Ah Grimsta!

I too was toying with the idea of including the classic Chiefs song for my "angry" choice!
You and me have got the same tastes mate! ;)

I'll use that one for my "When I Want to Die" theme! My brother and I regularly listen to the Philadelphia Orchestra's (Eugene Ormandy) version of the Symphony No. 6 (it's our favorite opus), and our wives make sure we have no sharp instruments near-at-hand. Our wrists look so inviting ...
