The first reenactment I'm posting about is coming up on July 2nd at Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia. I'm going to be portraying the U.S. army in WWI.

Just found out that on Sunday my Russian WWII unit will be doing an event at Penn's Landing in Philly for any that are interested.

a lil to far for me even on a long notice i cant afford to jet around altho if i was near philly i would be excited i have never seen a reenactment

The guy in the blue jacket is a Soviet vet from the war.

Wow, that must be one lucky dude. He survived Hitler and Stalin. Cool.

Well, next weekend I've got a World War II event at the Eisenhower farm in Gettysburg PA.

You know, frontovik, you look alot like a russian soldier.

You mean he isn't a real Russian soldier? And all this time...

Thats one of the guys in the outfit, its actually a long mustache. Sometimes Soviet troops grew long mustaches like that as a way to flout authorty.

Probably because I'm of Ukranian descent.

Sounds so...French.


Anyways, I am not aware of any WW reinactments in this area, though. But, congradulations, I guess.
