I have waited about eight weeks for my renewals to come .I arrive home yesterday to find within the post was an envelope from the police which delighted me untill i open it. Inside was a letter stating that i must sign the enclosed new licenses and notify them at once any change, unfortunately for me they had forgotton to enclose both licences! How can they allow this to happen and where are my licences??? HK

Had a similar problem myself.
Put in for a variation for another rifle and an addition for use of my .243. Firstly, it came back(6 days!) with the variation but no addition, so sent it back. Next it came back (5 days!), with the variation, no addition and no ammo for any of my rifles, so sent it back again. Then it arrived (6 weeks this time), as per my original request for variation and addition, but it had not been signed by the chief constable. Soooooo away it went again. 1 week later, at last, I got my new fac with everything correct. What will happen when my renewal come up, god only knows!
