hello,im new to the forum i would like to say hello to everybody on here.......i have a male harris hawk im going to use for pest control.ie un wanted pigeons or birds,rabbits,rats etc around factorys,business and town centres...in the local towns i have seen them use various birds of prey by flying the bird of prey around the factory or buildings this keeps un wanted birds away...does anybody know how i would go about starting this up ??? will i need a license of some kind?local council permission etc......i would appreciate any help or advice thanks....................

Now that sounds extremely interesting, I assume that you’re hawk would be used primarily to scare vermin away as opposed to catching them although the hawk would catch some no doubt.
I have always found hawking to be fascinating and may well treat myself to a hawking day that is now becoming so increasingly popular.
I hope you get the advice that you seek.
