Were off for a days sea fishing from Weymouth. Will let you know how we get on.

How did you go on?
Have been off myself with a mate out of Whitby and got 27stone (2 rods) of nice cod. Nicely filled the freezer for a while.

Here's the calculation!

27st of whole fish = aprrox 10st of fillets / two people = 5st, minus scrounging family & friends etc(Being it be Easter), finish up with about 3st!

So what was a good freezer filler, turns out to nicely pack one corner instead. Anyway my veg plot now, will be able provide the spuds.

We had it a bit quiet at Weymouth and only managed 5 fish between 9 of us all day 4 of which were the targeted fish pollock the biggest only making about 10lbs. With what i could make out from the radio talk none of the boats out did much better.HK
