happykeeper - April 27, 2005 06:22 PM (GMT)
I'm still hearing that alot of people are still having problems holding zero with their .17's . One keeper i know tells me that he has to pull through after about every ten shots .This must be a bore if out rabbiting !! The chap who took our DSC 1 has tryed all the ammo available and has end up sending his back .Has anyone got any ideas on this .

Ive never used a .17, but i know that my old .22-250 was a bugger, that needed cleaning after 20 or so rounds, obviously it was just a foxing gun, but still a pain.

Maybe the answer is home loading to sort out the problem.
I take it the problem is leading down the barrel?
