Description: Suppliers

Anyone know of the cheapest supplier of Mk4 Fenn's? Trap & Snare seemed to be the cheapest, but have had problems and no long stock them. My local supplier (The only one for miles) is now selling them at £10.50, which I know is too expensive.

I saw them for about £6.50 the other day but the last lot i bought was from Solway about five years ago and i bought 25 at less than £6.00. I've just rung Paul at Bruern Abby Game supplies Ltd he will do them at £5.75 + postage ring him on 07778153774

Thanks for the new info, will give a ring Mon.
Info at the moment, Solway £6.50, Killgerm £6.70 and V.E.S. who can't answer their messages so I don't think they are worth bothering with £5.40.

Funny you should say that about them. I rang them a while ago. This may well have been after e mailing them and getting no reply, though I can't swear to that.
Young lad answered the phone and seemed fine. He wasn't in a position to answer my querie himself but said he'd have the guvvnor call me back. I was enquiring about an order I planned to make too.
Never since heard from them.

Those coni's annoy me, Fish. I'm just not natural around those things. Great fun ~ once ye have the trigger sorted! ~ but I don't like tilling them <_< What about those huge 330's the yanks use? Walk in bear trap. Imagine standing there, fiddling with one of those things? I'd find faith in god before I did in that bloody safety catch!
Coni's never caught me yet. I think the day one does, I'll have a heart attack in anticipation of the pain it must cause!
Famously caught my own thumb once, in a five inch Gin trap! One of the stars of my Collection that one too. Beautifully constructed trap. Worked a treat!
Best of all though, much more recently, I was sat here talking to my old mentor. This man's so deeply xtian, he gets the bends after saying his prayers. Know what I mean? Won't hear bad language or - god forbid - the lords name being taken in vane.
I wish to god I could remember which trap it was now. But it was powerfull and a mean piece of work. I seem to recall it was rare as hell and extremely valuable too. I was probably cleaning and examining it, as I spoke to him over my hands free phone.
Then the bloody thing fired! God almighty! My damn face went blue. My eyeballs shot out. My back arched. And all that erupted from my mouth was; " Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhh, Deary ME, Fred! It just caught my finger! "
And then I rushed out back. Where I treated the entire neighbourhood to, " Faaaaaarkk! Faaaaaarrkk! Faaaaaaaarkinnellllll! "

Thanks to AMATEX.
I' ve got a brochure from Collins Nets. I must say their prices are vey cheap in comparison to around here. You didn't mention though, that they sell most Game Rearing equipment, also at reasonable prices. At the moment, I am talking to other local keepers, to see about a bulk order.
