What feed supplier do you use and why?

We have been using Bartholomew’s for a while now and switched to grain harvester last year. The GH stuff seems to have a spice premixed in and is a bit cheaper than barts stuff. The birds seem to like it and its non-gm.

I'm in Oxford and i use Bartholomews. I find it to rear a good bird at a reasonable price(not the cheapest) I met Craig whislt loading in Dorset about 6 years ago and when i moved jobs i gave him a ring and i'm still with them.

I use Gamekeeper feeds which seems to work for me at£5.00 a bag .
Also Bartholomews wild bird mix is proving very useful.

As for breeder pellets:

Barts said they would be £10 more than last year so £269T and £65T for flubenvet.
Grain Harvester £206T and £70T for flubenvet.

I think Barts is more expensive as they don’t manufacture there own food where as GH does. Any one know prices of other suppliers?

Hi Amatex, I spoke to barts the other day and they said they couldn't give me prices yet. Prices do vary alot according to the tonnage you buy so comparing doesn't really work unless your buying like for like. I do have numbers if you would like to ring other food companies up. Happykeeper
