colin_ni - December 12, 2005 12:31 PM (GMT)
just thought i would let you all know that im going pheasant shooting to scotland (im from northern ireland) in january. i am really looking forward to it as i have never done it before, but i am also nerves as i only have my gun 2 years and im still not a great shot. so the reason i am posting this thread is to find out which is the best load for my gun, its a BRNO 301 game 28" f/f 12g.it is a walk up rough shoot not driven.

Go to enjoy the day. You might want to take a few non-lead as most walked up days in Scotland includ some sort of wild fowl. If your gun is choked full and full you might like to try somebodys gun that is a bit more open it may give you some confidents.

Colin, your the lucky one i'm left handed but have a very strong right master eye. I've taught myself to shoot right handed but still am very average. Happykeeper
