Giga tank would geunt a bit as he continued to battle the inquistor, he was faring well, being that his giga-unit made his defences pretty hard to get through, but there were some cuts along the armor. it seemed rather blocky in its giga form, but aside from that is was a metallic looking silver in color with a faint yellow glow because of his energy field. His dreds hung down almost to the floor, giving him a multitude of angles to attack and distract it with. multiple vibrational blades were extended to block and counter attack the inquisitors halberd attacks.
They seemed to be at an almost stalemate, but the inquisitors power was slowly wearing him down, if he didnt finish this off soon things might be bad.he fired multiple head beams at him, but wasnt able to get any kind of focused strike to get through his armor. As he continued to battle, a dread or two was lopped off in near misses and he flinched a bit. it was about this time he looked and saw a bright green burst of lightly. "Holy....."
OOC: short, i know, but kris said i should post about his looks before his next IC Post.
Sith Guyver - April 26, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
OOC: I would like to point out as a reminder that anyone in guyver armor except Sith, kaiser, and Blood can only use one unit upgrade at a time. This include Gigantics.
and for the mentally challenged, that's upgrades, not mutations
further side note, if your not one of those three (and ghrecki for reasons of common sense) you can't use your mutations as a giga due to a previous declaration by me.
No whining, you all should have known this already.

And that's why I didn't use the giga to teleport! See I had it all planned out that way, it wasn't that I just forgot that I had it with me when I made the post! To those who doubted my logic, for shame! I have shown you all my superior attention to detail!
Now that I think about it since Kfive is technically always big even when normal sized he probably can't use the gigantic anymore.
IC:
Dark clouds swirled in the sky as the giant multi armed form of Kfive descended just outside Chicago, last time he'd been here the city had been trashed by his battle against the neo hyper 5, it looked even worse now, Revyugs were tearing the sity apart, blowing holes through sky scrapers and setting fire to buildings. With a huge crash the giant landed causing all the nearby Revyugs to take to the air firing at him.
"Cut it out!" Kfives tail fired its positron beam lancing through their ranks blasting them apart and vaporizing the tops of all the nearby sky scrapers in the process.
"Oh shit....well the Revyugs already messed the place up good so it's not that noticible...don't have time for this, now I just gotta follow that highway..." As he began to follow the highway that lead out to where his house was another swarm of Revyugs began launching its attack. "No one gets in my way!" as he said this a secondery set of horns emerged from his head as bluish energy began to crackle around his body. A huge blast of lighting erupted spreading out in all directions from his body melting all the nearby buildings into molten slag. After that he only paused shortly to look at the smoking rubble before moving on. Ussing his gravity controller he took to the air flying above the highway until he got out tot he countryside. As he flew everything looked pretty bad, the Revyugs hadn't spared anything in their aggresion whether it was an urban, susburb or countryside they had struck without mercy. Finnally he got back to his home town. As he had feared everything was decimated, it wasn't a heavily inhabited area and had offerred little resistance to the coming invasion. From the looks of it everyone was already dead.
"Shit....what the hell did I die for..." he had thought the people he knew would probably be safer that way at the time but it had all been for nothing. He spotted the charred remains of his neighborhood "You bastards....I'll kill you all, I'll purge the universe of your kind and invade your world! Then we'll see how you like it!" Clenching his fist as hard as he could his fingers ripped open as a number of claws formed digging into his own flesh. Nost of the Revyugs in the area were gone, either because they moved on or were killed by him but alot more were in space. He'd purge them from the universe one at the time for what they did, and the ones who were here would be the first to go! Kfive hovered intot he air as he flew upwards towards space.

IC:
Daedalus had spent the time he was flying through space as a time to reflect. To think about the past that had been dredged up and perverted by the Benefactors. He thought long and hard about the signifigance of this event. Why of all people in his life did they have to choose her? Why Lazzerie? And why now? After all the changes he recently went through, after all the new visions and sights bestowed upon him... why now? He loved her... if such a thing was possible. But they both were dedicated to thier craft, thier trade, thier profession. There was no room for love and comfort except in the alleys of shit hole rat infested third world countries fighting a fight that everyone forgot who started hundreds of years ago. In those times, they did the best they could and man it was worth it.
BOOM!!!
Daedalus smashed through an asteroid the size of a double decker bus and kept on truckin. It would be a minute or two before he got back inside Earth's gravity well and back to his comrades.
His thoughts came back to his reverie. He took this time to rehash, reflect, and regroup. The Benefactors were playing psychological mind games. He saw this done by PsyOps in Bearute. He trained for it in Higher Echeloen. He was ready for anything...anything but this. He started feeling the tug of the Moon. It would only be a matter of time before Earth pulled at him. He began righting himself and adjusting his shielding for reentry until he thought about it.
"All these new abilities ... might as well try them out." he said with an apparent false sense of bravado. Daedalus began imagining the hull of the Seraphim, visualizing it's stark detail. His form began pixelating as he shifted into his Vector Trap, compressing space between two points, and viola... instant hull.
Daedalus's taloned feet scracthed the hull of the Seraphim as the recent events replayed in his mind.
"Gotdammit, furry pussy!!! Are we done here?" The pain could be heard in his voice as he banged his foot hard on the hull until he slumped down on his knees, head stooped, and arms (all four of them) draped in his lap. "It hurts to much... and it's only gonna get worse." The sound of chaos and destruction could be heard all about him. Incoming fire and countered attacks flared and blazed near and far from him. It mattered not. He cared for little at this moment. First his home was stripped from him and then his woman of sorts. He was already alone before all this started and now he was even more so. He stayed on the hull oblivious to all, feeling nothing in his energy state whether from the outside ... or inside, it mattered not. He sat there.... and waited for it all to end.
Gall_4185 - May 1, 2007 02:20 PM (GMT)
His flesh burned in the emerald wake of Judicar, every subtle movement ached joints and muscles he felt sure should still be regenerating. The sharp intake of breath rasped against his parched throat as encrusted eyes scraped open to bear witness to the carnage he lay amidst. Smoking and charred husk of Revyug cropses were being effortlessly sucked from the injured relic into the harsh and infinite blackness of space. Hades' skull throbbed with pain as flashes of recognition and rememberence flared through the synapses of his brain. He recalled the subtle build of pressure around him, the faint hum as the area charged with ambient energy, the way the Revyug stood mutely unaware of what was happening. He remembered seeing Mark leap at the Inquisitor Prime, only to be swatted violently away by a great swipe of those vicious twin halberds. He reached out through Charon to pull Tank and Yuna to relative safety. He even 'saw' Gizmo kick the Advent Commander in the ankle before fleeing to his home on Charon. Then the air rippled as the ambient energy approached critical mass, He saw more shimmers appear as Revyug Collosus brought their shields up. The fear in their eyes as they realised they'd just created a trap for themselves. Without a word, without a signal, without any hint of emotion Hades released the final charge of Judicar and his world turned into a hell built of emerald flames...
Tank and Yuna watched these events unfolding from Charon, they sat in fear and awe as the blast melted through alien armour,as the shielded Collosus blinked out of existence, trapped in a ball of fury by their own defences. They saw the blast breach the Relic's hull, and saw dozens of fatally wounded Revyug drawn into Death's embrace by the sudden decompresion. They watched as Inquisitor Prime anchored his halberds into the floor, his gargantuan muscles straining against the pull of space before his masters teleported him to safety. They saw Hades dragging himself upright, alone amongst countless dead in a chamber now much larger than the one the fight had started in. Judicar's blast had melted through several adjacent rooms and chambers,in all directions. Then they saw Hades stepping closer, and realised that Charon had moved while they watched. A ripple in the small craft's hull allowed its master to enter the bridge. Without a word,Hades dropped into his chari, fingers in motion even as he descended. Charon's control panles flashed to life beneath his dexterous digits. The craft banked sharply away from the breach caused by Judicar before spiralling around the hull of the Relic. Smasher blasts fired, trying to pick off the crew but Hades' control of Charon was boredering on the supernatural. Within seconds it had collected Mark's badly beaten body, his natural regeneration slowed by the harsh decompression and near absolute temperatures of deep space. A split second later and Charon snapped to a halt, weapons charging and facing the Relic's bridge. Yuna cried out that Sith was still aboard, but Hades waved off her concern knowing that this attack would only make his job easier. The smasher cells ripped to life, before tearing through the Advent Bridge with surgical precision. "Best of luck to you my friend, enjoy your new toy" Hades sent to Sith through their units. Or rather through SIth's unit, because Hades was no longer certain he could be defined as a Guyver. Now he was something else. But such speculations could wait for now, there was still a world to save.
"You guys ever want to be heroes?" he asked Tank and Yuna, his voice dripping with rage and a tone bordering on arrogance...
"Sure thing flyboy, let's go save the day" came a voice from behind him, wine deep and lovingly female...

OOC: The end is coming...Now before I let you read this I'm letting you know now this is only part one of my post, seeing as I know it can be difficult to mull your way through extra ordinarly long posts, I've decided to split this up into more managable pieces, that and I still have to finish the rest...So enjoy this brief bit, its only about 12 pages in MS word, so it shouldn't be too small for some of you. This way you can enjoy it at your leisure and for those slackers who still want to get something in, this is also your very last opportunity, next part shall be up around Monday~Tuesday, enjoy!!!!!!
All of this happened during everyone else’s posts
IC:
The two sides of the same coin clashed with inhuman fervour. Dragon ducked below Chimera’s roundhouse kick and sped forward to strike her firmly with his elbow, driving his plasma blades as far as they would go into her midriff. She chortled a laugh, blood spraying across her ivory fangs and coated the sea with even more crimson as the two tangoed across the top of the water like nymphs of hell. She quickly countered with her tail, coiled it about his neck and threw him like a rag doll; his body skipping like a flattened stone across the water intermingled with stray appendages and bloody limbs.
A snarl gnawed away at the silver beast’s throat and he slammed his clawed hands into the water as though it were able to aid his recovery, the long slash marks in the water seemed to part the water momentarily before he reoriented himself and stood up.
“I was expecting more then this.”
“Shut up.”
“What, not in a talkative mood today lover?”
“You don’t get to call me that, you don’t even get to speak.”
The words were exchanged between raging fists and flying feet. Chimera caught him across the face with a right hook, Dragon felt as though his lower mandible had been nearly thrown from his jaw. He rebounded with a fiery backhand that sent Chimera into a whirl before driving his foot forward and caught her squarely in the chest. She gagged on the sudden out-rush of air from her lungs but not before she grabbed hold of his foot and threw him into the skyline with a great heave, where hundreds of hungry Revyugs awaited him with eager and ravenous anticipation.
With a dissatisfied groan, Dragon’s plasma claws burst from their forearm prison and within moments he had eviscerated the majority with little effort. His body arced and twirled in almost an elegant style as he dispatched them. Some found their heads cleaved from their bodies while others discovered fiery hot claws impaled through their chests and tearing them apart like a rookie butcher. The first few were torn apart without grace or cleanliness, their wounds were ragged and imperfect and yet it still did the job. The enormous tail shook violently with a zealot’s fervour. It lanced through bodies as though they were merely earth and it were an earthworm, weaving in and out of bodies.
Chimera remained perched atop the water like a macabre pixie. His jaw reset itself while he held a Revyug by the throat, its thrashing only intensifying his grip until a loud snap indicated its neck had snapped. He tore large mouthfuls of flesh from it like a shark; his tail weaved about and like a cobra and expertly struck the Control Medallion. He felt the warm blood crash down his throat like a waterfall and felt his wounds begin to bind and heal.
In that moment of grotesque pleasure Chimera had remained motionless, inviting his charge, opening her arms wide in gesture as though to mock his feeble attempt to kill her.
“Maybe that’s why it was so easy to kill off your entire bloodline, you’d rather eat then fight.” She giggled only to see Dragon drop the bloody skeletal remains of a Revyug into the crimson ocean, which only added to the dissolving body count.
“Oh, seems I’ve struck a nerve, though with your uncle I didn’t exactly strike his nerves, more like plucked them like a violin, he did make such a wonderful instrument, pity his body gave out so quickly.”
The taunts had their intended effect; Dragon swooped down like a falcon. Chimera grinned to herself.
This is almost too easy.
Her arms were well braced and her body set to receive the charge. He pushed her no more then a few feet back, he slashed and swiped at her like a wild animal, only to see her duck and weave around his wildly attempts to hurt her. She laughed at his impotent snarls and with the grace of an elf preformed a beautiful forward somersault, bringing down both of her feet atop his skull, the force was enough to knock Dragon down through the water with enough force to leave the water parted where he descended. Chimera threw her head back and howled with triumph and with a great flap of her wings took to the sky, while doing so she grabbed hold of passing Revyugs with her steely talons.
“You look rather tasty.” Before the Revyug could respond she opened her devilish lips and began to devour the creature where it hovered, completely complicit to the needs of its superior. It never screamed as Chimera stripped its body bare of flesh.
Dragon shook his head, stars and bright spots danced with ominous perorates about his sensory array. He felt the thud of the sandy ocean bed against his wings. He barely had time to gather himself and attempt to stand when Chimera came through the water like a streamlined prehistoric monster. His right arm sacrificed itself to Chimera’s fangs as she bit down with enough force to crush steel. His clawed fingertips of his left hand curled into a fist and with shaking rage drove it firmly into her temple, knocking her off, along with a large strip of flesh from his arm that was stripped to the bone. He let out a muffled cry in the murky abyss and clutched his arm. The plasma blades along his body shimmered dangerously in the water, their temperature boiling the water about him, cloaking him in a fog of steam.
Aww did that hurt? Her taunts began anew as she stood upright.
Her response came in the form of Dragon dashing forward as best he could through the water and struck her once more across the face with his left fist, the blow was unexpectedly stronger then his average punch. Chimera winced at its force and staggered a step backward. All the while scanning him with her Hypersenses, she noted his power booster was still inactive and that it was something physiological but it was still too unclear to discern.
The silver Guyver took the chance to whirl in the water and catch her across the chest with his clawed feet, their talons digging deeply into her chest before his tail came about and swiped her feet out from under her.
He spun in the water again, rotating through the horizontal and vertical axis to come down on her head in a diagonal direction with both of his feet. The sand erupted with such might that it suffocated Dragon’s sensors and forced him to flap his enormous wings to clear the debris. As the sand parted he snarled to see Chimera crouched, in her pothole of sorts, within the sand, grinning.
Surprised?
Scalding hot bubbles frothed from Dragon’s blades while he bent his body into a threatening attack posture, his clawed feet scrapped the ocean floor, momentary sparks illuminated the otherwise dank abyss. The faint traces of light came only from their fiery blades and control medallions. Chimera threw her head back in another mocking laugh, the sound waves rippling through the water like a malevolent current.
So we’re going to do the silent thing eh? The notable similarities in their speech patterns clawed at Dragon’s heart, confirming once more that this monster was forged from him. Well if you aren’t going to say anything, I guess we can cut to the fun stuff! Pardon the bad pun!
Dragon recoiled and blocked with crossed forearms as Chimera’s fist came at him with surprising velocity and strength. He acted without thought and ducked down and lashed out with a sweep kick. Chimera smirked and hopped over the incoming leg and slammed her own upon it with sickening force. You’ve lost your edge. Dragon stifled a cry, the ligaments of his knee snapped like guitar strings.
With a twist and a tremendous level of pain, Dragon contorted his body upright and drove his other foot squarely into her chin. His damaged knee still pinned in its awkward position, nerves reeling in agony. Another grin spread across the wraith’s face as blood seeped from her armoured chin. Still not good enough! She shifted her legs and like a meat grinder, compressed the knee into the seabed.
A howl of pain was caught moments before escaping his lips and with that he took hold of one of his Twin Fang blades and slashed at Chimera’s own kneecaps. The wraith leapt backward and took hold of her Twin Fangs, preparing to unleash both at once. Dragon hauled himself to his feet, heavily favouring his leg and blitzed forward. As Chimera let her blades fly he deflected them with his own before driving his fist firmly into her chest, the plasma claws triggered upon his fist’s contact with her flesh.
The blow knocked Chimera several steps back, into which Dragon propelled himself forward. His claws extended, searing the water as they slashed and hacked at Chimera. The onslaught caught Chimera momentarily off-guard, she purred like a giant tiger while Dragon’s claws lacerated her armoured flesh. Then in an instant, she reversed the momentum.
Upon his next wild punch, she fluidly whirled beneath and away before cart-wheeling forward and slamming both of her feet down upon his head, followed quickly by sharp rising knee to his doubled over face, it split his armoured face where his nose ought to be and she then drove a firm right hook into his temple, cracks sprung about like a spider web from the point of impact.
Dazed and confused, Dragon lashed about without thought to drive her back only to have her grasp hold of his right arm and snap the elbow out of joint along with the shoulder. He staggered backward as Chimera took the moment to gloat, releasing the crippled arm, and took on a nonchalant stance of contempt.
Where’s the passion, the fire, the hatred? You aren’t being any fun today.
The crackling echo of Dragon’s bones being forced back into place was his lone reply. His leg was all but healed but the balance was still questionable at best. He charged again, Chimera yawned with disdain, waiting for another blind attack of fists. She lashed out with her plasma claws and skewered his lead forearm. Chimera yanked him off balance and his intended direction of attack before she caught him squarely in the solar plexus with a bone breaking kick. Blood foamed out of his mouth as his body gagged in pain.
This is why it was so easy to kill your bloodline, even if you did try to stop me, you wouldn’t have been able to, you’re weak, pathetic, and to think I thought you had so much more potential!
Her other elbow slammed down on his spine, the blades bit deeply into his flesh, and tore through his lungs, diaphragm and spleen before she savagely twisted her elbow and flung him away like trash. You don’t even know what I did to half of them do you? What’s a more appropriate time then now, on the eve of your death eh?
Before Dragon’s body touched the ocean floor, Chimera had already caught up to him and clasping both of her hands together, brought the combined fist down on his back, she smirked as his wing attempted to deflect the blow, cutting up her hands as she connected, but the damage was done as he landed headfirst into the unforgiving rock. She snaked after him through the water, her body moving like a crocodilian, propelled by her tail. She brought the full weight of her body down upon his back, her hooked talon-like feet clawed, slashed, and lacerated without mercy. You may have a nigh indestructible skeleton like me lover, but you and I both know your organs aren’t even remotely as sturdy!
Her words rang true as he felt his kidneys explode from the pressure; they were like small firecrackers going off in his abdomen. Chimera laughed at his piteous attempts to lift himself from the ocean floor. Think those where your kidneys going pop, what’s next, your pancreas, who really needs a pancreas when you’re about to die? Who needs any of their organs when they’re about to die come to think about it? She giggled at her rhetorical question while lifting one of her feet and then driving it down against the small of his back.
Organs shifted like a squirm of eels and Dragon howled once more. Chimera’s tail wrapped lazily about his throat and as she dismounted his mangled back she threw him once more with the snap of the serpentine appendage. The ragged body of Dragon struck the merciless granite bedrock walls of the island. Barely conscious, he struggled to look up, only to see the devilish figure of Chimera standing in a twisted parodied stance of a supermodel during a photo shoot.
You know, maybe it would help if I showed you what I did to them. That might spark something.
She whispered like a serpent into his mind. He barely registered her thoughts when she struck him with her fist in his sternum. He would’ve doubled over if her knee had not caught him in the face, snapping his head back and striking the granite painfully once more.
Now then, let the show begin.
Fragments of images, smells, tastes, and emotions flooded through Dragon’s mind. He screamed. The torment of such unspeakable acts against his family playing back in his eyes tore a great wound in his heart and mind. His tail instantly coiled against the granite wall and he used it as a spin to launch himself at Chimera, swearing and screaming at her in the bloody abyss where only they could hear one another. Chimera merely laughed at his feral attempts to injure her and took great pleasure in intensifying the psychic rape.
The maddening rage seared his own eyes as he tried to force the memories being forced upon him, striking wildly without thought or tactic. Chimera easily parried and deflected the undisciplined strikes and reprising with refined and precise blows that only served to further Dragon’s insanity. Her gravity orb shimmered and uprooted two granite stalagmites formed eons ago by a long extinct volcano. With a mere flick of her wrist the two stalagmites sailed through the water and staked both of Dragon’s feet to the ocean floor. Still in a maddening rage, Dragon attempted to lunge forward only to find himself effectively rooted to the spot.
Before he could take hold of the stalagmites and tear himself loose, Chimera deepened the psychic trauma she was inflicting upon Dragon’s mind a thousand fold, forced him to relive Chimera’s every action, feeling, sensation in taking the lives of everyone that was even remotely related to him in vivid detail right down to the very smell and taste of their mutilated bodies.
The world washed away from Dragon’s eyes as though it were being sucked down a drain. The overwhelming sensations stripped him of his awareness. Chimera made no noise as her Dragon Buster blade materialized in her right hand, the paper-thin blade caused the water about it to steam and bubble like acid.
Feeling as though the abyss of torment had devoured him, a staggering and fiery pain pierced through his chest and like a parasite, leeched through and into the rest of his body. Suddenly the world came rushing back to him in blistering vividness, wrapped neatly with a tremendous amount pain. He shook his head slightly and his eyes refocused to see Chimera standing no more then an arms’ length away, her right arm extended straight, the Dragon Buster in her grasp, with the blade skewering him through the heart and out his back.
His head dropped slightly, blood oozed from his maw, his body posture began to slump forward and relax. Chimera cheered in her head at the thought of finally breaking his spirit. That was until his head snapped upright.
Dragon’s mouth opened as wide as it could, blood spraying and intermingling with the ocean water as he let out a thunderous war cry. His left hand took hold of Chimera’s right arm and with a sharp yank thrust the blade hilt deep into his chest, thus bringing his wraith within a whisker’s length of his face. Chimera froze momentarily in panic; Dragon cocked his head to study her body language with a feral wolfish grin, his fangs gleaming in the salty water.
Without a moment’s pause he threw her back, Dragon Buster in tow. Without a cry or whimper of pain he tore loose that which held him and crushed the granite in his quivering clawed hands. Chimera rebounded quickly and was just fast enough to impale Dragon through the left shoulder. The commander Guyver did not flinch nor cry out in pain, he merely took hold of the blade in his hand and savagely tore it from his body, throwing Chimera backward and onto her heels once more before he let out another thunderous roar that shook the waters. His body was hunched over like a predatory dinosaur of old as his tail swiped through the water back and forth, eager to engage his nemesis.
Chimera charged again, however as she brought her Dragon Buster down in a cleaving slash that would have split him down the center, Dragon’s clawed hands caught the blade with his palms inches above his head. His flesh smouldered but for all the strength that Chimera had, she couldn’t force it down any further. Her Hypersenses began to go wild, screaming with new data of what was physiologically occurring within Dragon’s body as he held her at this stalemate. She was in awe as his entire cardiovascular system, including his heart, reconstituted itself into something unlike she’d ever seen before. It was then that he smirked sardonically.
Looks like I’ll be keeping those organs after all.
Dragon’s power booster erupted within him and he felt a euphoric invigoration course through his veins. Chimera let out a shocked gasp as Dragon snapped the Dragon Buster’s blade at the hilt with a sharp jerk of his hands. He ducked and whirled in close to her body, Chimera unable to react in time as he crouched down and exploded upwards with a thunderous uppercut.
Chimera felt the flesh from the tip of her chin all the way up to her temple liquefy upon impact as the armour all but split open. The force of the blow sent her with such velocity that she broke through the surface of the ocean within moments. Her brain rattled within its skull cage. Disoriented and unaware of what had just happened, Chimera halted her ascent into the air to process these events. However, she did not notice Dragon had also broken through the ocean’s surface in the same instant as her. Her Hypersenses shrill cry was too late of a warning as he came down like an avalanche.
Forearms crossed themselves above her head to block the impending club like blow but it was futile. The downward velocity and raw strength of Dragon sent Chimera into a head over heels somersault spin. The flesh along her forearms exploded upon the impact, along with Dragon’s; as she spun he took hold of her ankles and continued the rapid spin for three more revolutions before he threw her with the added velocity into the rocky beach cliffs below. The ancient cliffs splintered and crumbled, large fragmented sections collapsed into the blood soaked waters while volumes of dust intermingled with the saturated atmosphere.
Elsewhere
The two fledging Guyvers were holding their own, as best they could. The intensity began to illustrate itself in larger lacerations digging into their armour along with more burn marks from head laser volleys. Buster could feel the heat of his enormous weapon seep through his armour and begin to gnaw away at his nerves but he held fast and continued to beat them back, alternating between missiles and the Gattling gun. Gigantic Tsiriel did his best to cover both of them from the onslaught of energy weapons fire but it was beginning to leach through.
“This isn’t going so well.” Tsiriel muttered as he dropped the shield to backhand a Colossal and drive his other fist through its head. At first glance it looked as though the Colossal stepped directly into line with his fist. Buster shook his head, must be the exhaustion he muttered in his head before filling an oncoming horde of Revyugs with laser bolts.
Shattered Cliffs
Blood splattered the rough rocky ground beneath Chimera as she spat up blood. Her armour was splintered and smeared in bloody dust. She was on all fours, her flesh along her forearms seeped through the numerous splintered aspects of the armour as though her armour were an oversaturated sponge.
“What’s gotten into him?” She muttered to herself, attempting to pull herself upright, quivering with ecstasy in the delightful pain he was causing her. “Seems I’ve struck a nerve. I think -”
Dragon appeared at that moment; as though on fire with blurring speed and drove his shoulder into her chest, the wind burst from her lungs and the force of the impact caused her collide with terrific force deeper into the bloodstained cliff face. Her head snapped downward and then painfully upright when her body found itself imprinted harshly into the rugged rock. She giggled as she peered at Dragon, his body was partially hunched, the exhaustion crept into his posture, his shoulders sagged and he knees were bent and legs spread apart to keep himself balanced. His arms hung at his sides as his chest heaved enormous breaths.
“Somebody looks tired, I guess its time to start to have some fun.” Chimera broke into a blood-smeared jackal like smile and seemingly unaware of the extent of her injuries sprang forward at alarming speed.
The blow left him staggering backward. Dragon gagged on his own lungs’ lack of air, Chimera’s fist buried in his solar plexus, she struck with enough force to punch through the armour and only halted by her fist striking the resilient rib cage beneath. Mega Smasher energy sparked to life and Chimera’s eyes momentarily appeared to shift from their typical cocky colour to that of a bone white apprehension.
Dragon stumbled backward and fell to the ground as he legs gave out. The thick ionized air prevented him from discerning if that attack had done any damage. He could feel his chest plates slowly begin to stitch themselves back across his chest at a painfully slow rate. The exposed and damaged mega smasher cells sparked and jolted, it sent tremors of pain throughout his body. He tried to keep as much of the oozing flesh within him with his hands. His tail twitched in spasms and sporadically.
A gale wind swept away the ionized dust, revealing a wing covered Chimera, with a deep sardonic chuckle purring in her throat. The energy crackled along it as she flung the wing, the energy explosively striking Dragon and knocked him off the cliff ledge and back down into the crimson waters below. Her shrill voice chased after him down the cliffs.
“Did you really think that would do anything? Is that all you have, some underhanded and dirty surprise tricks, I expected more from you! You showed some spirit and then you resort to this, how dare you!”
Dragon let out a howl of frustration and meters above the water his enormous wings unfurled as the gravity orb in his waist blazed to life. He came to a dead stop and as Chimera peered over the ledge she was greeted by a volcanic blast of plasma flames. She had the smile of child in a candy store with a parent’s credit card as Dragon soared up the cliff face for a second round.
The enormous wings flapped, causing muscles along his back to strain as he drove at Chimera. She neatly sidestepped his charged and sank her clawed fingers into his tail. She giggled with a grin and before Dragon could lash out with a foot, Chimera utilized his own velocity against him as she dug her clawed heels into the rock and began to whirl him about in a vicious circle, augmenting his speed with her own gravity orb.
At the same instant Dragon became aware of a swarm of Revyugs bearing down on their position. He braced himself as best as he could with his enormous spiked wings encasing his body but the Revyugs neither slowed down nor seemed to care as they crashed into his body in a kamikaze style of bombardment. He could feel the armoured flesh along his wings explode upon the violent impact, shearing it down to its bones and ragged ligament tissue as Chimera continued to whirl him about, occasionally dipping her arms to have his body strike the unforgiving rocks.
“Is that all you have lover, just a puff of flames? Where’s the rage? Where’s the passion you had moments ago? Your grandmother put up more of a fight then this!” She spat at him with distain before relinquishing her hold and sent him careening into the skyline, into the waiting arms of a throng of Revyugs.
The skeletal wings quivered in pain as Dragon involuntarily attempted to flap them. He let out a howl and managed to turn his body to face the onslaught of Revyugs that awaited them. The freshly bleeding memories of his massacred family echoed in his head with the newest taunts of Chimera. The closest Revyug reached out with a talon clawed hand for his head, only to find Dragon snap his jaw wide open with a hellish torrent of orange red plasma erupting forth. He did not fight the momentum as he flew through the Revyugs, his tail, his clawed hands and feet hooked into Revyugs and tore the flesh from their back, instantly throwing it to his ravenous maw which devoured it with frightening zeal. The Power Booster began to stir his mind. He could feel the caged animal within him clawing its way to the surface and once more he embraced it and freely allowed himself to enjoy the taste of the coppery blood that coated his throat.
Chimera watched candidly as Dragon burst through the ranks of Revyugs and whirled about, his chest plates nearly restored, the flesh and armour along the wings was also gleaming with new life. “Are you finally ready to have some fun?” She yelled over the swarms of Revyugs that were amassing between the two.
A low guttural noise clawed through his throat, deeper then a growl, more primal then a snarl. In an instant he streaked towards her, ignoring the legions of Revyugs between the two. The first few Revyugs were unable to register his movements and were blind sighted as he cut through them with his plasma blades. The fiery red blades sizzled with vaporized blood. He continued to hack and slash his way through them; all the while Chimera’s voice taunted him with her condescending and cruel tone. “Is it your power booster that’s keeping you so tame, afraid to use it to its full potential, is that it?”
Dragon momentarily paused at the truth in her words and paid for it dearly as the Revyugs took full advantage of his moment of inner horror. His Hypersenses nearly tore his mind in two with the shrill warning cry of a hundreds of Pressure Cannons bearing down upon him. The wings encased him before he could consciously command them, his body acted on instinct, or so he thought. The Revyugs took note of their pressure cannons being absorbed into the enormous spiked wings and attempted to flee, others encasing themselves in their colossal shields, those that were merely standard Revyugs were soon atomized as Dragon’s Explosive Burst unleashed the stored energy in the form of an omni-directional blast wave.
“No more.” He spoke so softly that only Chimera could hear him. “No more running.” She had to give him some begrudging respect for the fiery display of power, the incinerated ashes of the Revyugs drifted away in the blood soaked air. “I’m no longer afraid.” His words were mellow, his head hung low, as though he were finally able to solve a perplexing riddle. Chimera managed to catch a glimpse of the resolve in his eye plates before he sailed toward her and drove his elbow into her throat. Before the gag reflex could even occur, Dragon took her head with his hands and slammed it into his rising knee. The force of the impact splattered armour across his chest when he threw her against the rocky cliffs.
Chimera ducked below a punch that blew through the granite cliff as though it were papier-mâché. She quickly countered by punching the outstretched arm to the side and struck him in the chest with an open palmed Plasma Cannon with her other hand. The Plasma Cannon contained enough energy to blow him backward but not enough to punch through his armour, although it left a charred black mark at the point of impact. Chimera dashed forward and sprung forward to deliver a spinning heel kick to the side of his head. Dragon deftly followed her body language and caught the leg inches from the side of his temple. He grinned ominously before he swung her about and made sure to strike her head against the rocky cliff side before he relinquished his hold.
Chimera found herself in a head over heel spin while soaring through the air. “That’s more like it!” She cheered as Dragon came after her. She deflected his swinging right hook and drove her elbow into the side of his face, her plasma blade burst through his flesh and out the side of his jaw. Dragon’s clawed hand took hold of one of her Hypersensory spikes and savagely tore it loose. Chimera’s eye plates shimmered with surprise as Dragon thrust the razor sharp appendage through her left eye.
He wrenched himself free of the fishhook hold she had of him and drove another uppercut with his fist into her chest followed by a quick roundhouse kick to give him some distance. At that more Revyugs that were patrolling the skyline intervened. Dragon cut loose with a hellish pyre of plasma flames from his throat, the Collossals amongst them finding it difficult to block the intense onslaught. At that instant Dragon seemingly shimmered out of existence only to reappear moments later with his claws hilt deep in the lead Colossal’s forehead and extended out the back of its skull.
Chimera took the opportunity to grab a hold of a few stray Revyugs and devoured with inhuman quickness, as though they were merely candies. “I just hope he doesn’t wuss out on me now.” She grinned as she ripped out the Hypersensory spike from her bleeding eye socket. By the time her eye plate had reformed Dragon was through with the Revyugs and turned to face her again. “Goody, he still looks angry!” She giggled with a schoolgirl’s excitement and charged forward.
The silver guy dodged the onslaught of punches with erratic head weaving and drove a decisive fist squarely into her right cheek. Chimera spat blood with glee and responded with his momentary pause of success with a knee to the groin. She took hold of his wings as he doubled over in pain and threw him headfirst into the blood soaked sandy beaches below them. Dragon extended his hands forward and rebounded off the saturated sands in an elegant front roll. He whirled about as he came to his feet to be greeted by Chimera’s extended forearm, her plasma blades cut dangerously close to his throat. Dragon narrowly avoided falling over from the overcompensation of the dodge and used his tail as a spring against the ground to deliver a fierce head butt to the side of her temple.
The two continued their exchange of blows with savagery and feral intensity. Chimera caught hold of one of Dragon’s arms and violently dislocated the shoulder before she threw him over her shoulder and into the ground. She stomped her clawed feet into his chest. Her raptor clawed feet dug into his armoured flesh and tore it from his body with malicious glee. Blood sprayed from his mouth as Dragon let loose a Sonic Hurricane that blew Chimera into the sky once more. He tore into the air with a bestial rage and drove his right elbow hilt deep into her abdomen, the plasma blades extended throughout her body, bits and pieces of her uterus singed to the red blades.
The insults and taunts continued to slither from Chimera’s mouth between mouthfuls of Dragon’s flesh as she sank her fangs into his shoulder. A howl of emotional outrage filled the skyline as Dragon fought to keep the horrifying images Chimera was forcing him to relive at bay. “You know what, I think it’s high time I showed you some of my handy work!” She mused while she struck Dragon in the chest with a furious number of punches to his sternum, the wind violently forced from his lungs. Dragon snarled in reply and forced fiery plasma flames from his throat, charring Chimera’s jackal grin.
The two clawed and slashed at one another as they fell into an interweaving death spiral to the bloody beach below. The impact kicked up enough red sand to blind all those around. As it settled to the ground the two warriors continued their deadly dance of blades and fangs. Chimera slashed Dragon across the chest with her extended plasma claws, the blades bit deep and scrapped painfully against his ribcage while Mega Smasher fluid oozed from the mangled chest plates. Dragon ducked below the next lunging slash and drove his fist up into her chin with a flawless uppercut. As she flew upwards Dragon quickly whirled with his tail and smacked her like a baseball across the rugged sands as though she were a skipping stone.
Dragon began to trek towards her, his body smoking with ambient bio energy about his like a wispy fire. While Chimera began to pull herself upright, Revyugs dove like falcons from the sky towards Dragon, murderous intent in their maddening war cries. The first found the back of Dragon’s fist smash into its face, its brains and skull exploded in a shower of gore while he continued to stalk towards Chimera who stood there with a pleasant smile creeping across her carnivorous face. The next Revyug was impaled through the forehead via Dragon’s tail. Another found its flesh stripped from its body as Dragon’s spiked wing grated against it. The rest were skewered and otherwise vivisected by Dragon’s plasma claws. Never once did Dragon slow his approach to Chimera.
“Looks like I’ve finally got you to come out of that shell of yours.” She mockingly wiped an imaginary tear from her eye plate as Dragon cleaved the last Revyug in half at the waist before he obliterated each halved segment with a Plasma Cannon from each hand.
“Shut up.” He snapped his head upright to glare at her with seething hatred. He raised a hand with a glowing sphere of crimson gravitational and plasma energies. He released it in an instant and Chimera laughed as her wing furled about her to absorb the energy.
“Oh but I think you’ll want to hear what I have to say next.” She purred with insidious intent. Dragon dashed forward as Chimera reached from behind her back to display her trinket. Dragon froze in mortified horror. The grotesqueness of it froze him to the sandy earth as though it were entangling roots bound around his feet. His jaw quivered in terror as his eyes focused upon the object in Chimera’s hand.
The mutilated skull of one of his grandparents, his maternal grandmother to be specific, her flesh looked leathery and shrunken. Her eyes had been removed, with gapping black sockets in their once kindhearted stead. The jaw was twisted in a horrified scream of agony, the tongue savagely removed, wisps of her curly hair torn loose in patches. Her neck violently severed, from the trauma about it, it looked to have been removed while she still had a heartbeat.
Dragon remained affixed to the ground; the world around him seemed to grow white and blurred, distorted along the outer fringes of his peripheral vision and began to close in until the last image he could distinctly make out was Chimera’s right fist closing in rapidly upon his face.
OOC: From here on out, this takes place in the RPG’s present
IC:
Inside Dragon’s head
John felt strange, he felt calm, relaxed, liberated even. When he looked around everything was white, he looked down at his hands to see that they were stripped of their armour, he touched his face and found himself completely unarmoured. He looked about in apprehension for Chimera but saw nothing. That was until he heard a far off whistling, soothing and yet unsettling. It grew progressively more distinct and less distorted, he turned to try and perceive its location but to no avail.
Memories suddenly struck his mind like hailstorms of needle like daggers. His body wracked and contorted with violent spasms as the surge of memories cascaded through him. Fragments of conversations, emotions, and thoughts ripped through him until all he could do was throw his head back in a futile scream. The damage done by Jane was far more then he could even comprehend. The scope of the trauma was beyond his ability to fathom as he saw his own memories mesh and intermingle with hers, corrupting his mind to the point of no return.
Suddenly he felt a very cold shiver etch its way up his spine. The whistling tune continued to grow louder and as it became clearer it felt less and less friendly. He whirled about only to notice the bright light that encompassed this expanse began to shrink away, as though it were slowly being engulfed by darkness, slowly eating away at the fringes. He spun around again; the corner of his eye caught the glimpse of something. It looked so familiar and yet to alien. But there was nothing concrete he could see, shadows and fragmented glimpses. He continued to revolve around as the darkness encroached upon him at a steadily increasing speed. Fear began to swell within the bottom of his throat as the darkness began to rapidly envelop him. It was at this moment of engulfment that he caught sight of the mysterious familiarity. It was him, or what he thought was someone that looked like him, walking by, whistling, with a jackal kind of smile before everything went black…
Armageddon - May 5, 2007 03:44 AM (GMT)
OOC: Wow, this RPG has gone beyond my foggiest. Seeing about a quarter of what's happened has kinda trashed my idea, but I'll be back after I learn some more about this. Kaiser, your post rocked. I can't wait to see what Dragon does when he finds my character's damaged shell.
Tomorrow, I should have my DF put together. I'll be talking with Sith some more to make sure I've got this right. And I'll post it for your viewing pleasure.
After that, I'll see what my blown mind can summon up and edit this post.
Sith Guyver - May 6, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
OOC: party time.
IC: The ship was rocked by a blast, his hyper senses showed a new whole where the bridge once was. he had been tossed into the air by it, his grav orbs humming keeping him floating amougnst the debris that hung in zero g.
"what's amatter hun, after all this time still can't stay on your feet when we arrive." she chortled.
His head robotically trained upon the women, finally settling back on the ground. His eye's dimmed, Omega slidding out of his coat and solidifying next to him.
"such tastey moresels, i must applaude you Sith, you have delicate tastes indeed."
Both the women before her clenched their teeth, "YOU GOD DAMNED MAN WHORE!"
The exploded forward, claws and blades beared. Omega merely smirked, "Meow baby." Flattening herslef on the ground, andrea over extended herself and found herself being slammed into a wall by her ankle.
Sith dropped into a low sweeping kick trying to take out megans footing, springing into the air a half second prior she lashed her tail at the back of his head. He blipped energy into his right wrist orb and slid clear of the impact, sweeping his left arm up he caught her arm and pulled, smashing her face first to the deck. he kicked off the ground landing atop of her contorted form restraining her. Omega doing much the same, constricting andrea with her slippery shadow form.
Clapping punctuated the stillness after the breif attack, sith didn't even need to turn his head, he knew exactly who was behind him. "well done argus, it seems war has taught you better than i'd hoped. Soon there we be no way to distinguish us." arguille spat with venom.
Sith's form faded with the teleportation, arguille was ready and spun around catching sith with a punch to his CM. The stunned guyver stumbled back as he was grasped by the thraot and entwined by remover tendrils. "pittiful."
Arguille flung sith into a leaping omega, as sith spun free of the tendrils, omega was quickly wrapped around him unable to get free. Arguille shifted through the room ahead of them, snapped back his arm behind him and slammed the points of his index and middle finger into Sith's face. his left facial armor caved under the onslaught and his cm cracked slightly, snuffing out the sense of life in him. Performing a round house kick, arguille smashed him into the Control Medal stalk at the center of the ship.
Sith's limp body crumpled haphazardly, seemingly embedded into the spire. Omega slid out from under him, teeming and twitching with anger as the other two owmen joined arguille at his sides. As she transformed into something approximating human, a yellow crystal appeared clenched in her fist. It sparked and shined, pulsing with power as she held it. Her teeth clenched, jagged and frightening.
Tendrils slid down the control spire grasping sith, seemingly tapping into him, he body exumed from the spire hung in the air, as the nearest Ship medal detached itself. Omega and sith were engulfed inside a gigantic cocoon.
Seconds passed, silence drapped itself over everything. Arguille summoned his Collosal armor. The cacoon finally humming, cracking open with a hiss, the room filled with vapor.
"The Child of the mist emerges." Arguille said bemused.
Guyver Ashtaron - May 6, 2007 07:03 AM (GMT)
The two fledging guyvers coninuted to fight on their own, but for every Revuyg they killed, just another four popped up in it's place. Buster curses loudly as he starts to feel the strain of his gatling cannon as it starts to overheat. "At this rate im all overheated, we need some big artillery like right now!"
Another spray of lethal laser bolt death send a hundred falling down, but yet another of same came back as soon as the corpses hit the ground. The missles made short work of the flanks, but again only more and more appear.
Everything is about to go straight to hell at this point..
Apocalypse - May 6, 2007 08:29 PM (GMT)
OOC: Just a quickie post before I leave for work :weep:
IC: As the room slowly began to come into focus the holes in the walls were still visible, the damage to the ship that had been caused by the explosion still was still in the process of being repaired. Looking down airius saw that the wound caused by the gigas revyug’s pressure cannon had not completely healed and that he was also covered in a series of mysterious burn marks. Still feeling weak he struggled to get on his feet and proceeded out of the room stumbling every few feet.
After slowly making his way to what looked like a laboratory on the ship when he fell to his knee’s clutching his chest in pain and convulsing so violently that is was bringing up blood. When the convulsions finally ceased Airius stared at his blood soaked hand while trying to get his vision to focus.
“What the hell is happening to me?”
Kaiser Dragoon - May 24, 2007 05:57 AM (GMT)
OOC: Sorry for the delay, part II took longer then expected... enjoy!
IC:
Back to reality
A shrill scream of pain echoed throughout the beach line. Chimera jumped backward, her left hand cradling the charred stump of what used to be a right hand, held close to her chest plates. She stared down at the stump with incredulity. The hand had been dissolved just past her wrist, the smoke still wisped from the scorched bio armour. She hissed in rage and looked up to see Dragon flat on his back, in the water, motionless. She could see from where she stood there was no visible trauma to his Control Medallion. However she also noted that there was no obvious activation of his self-defence mode. The legions of Revyugs circled Dragon’s body like ravenous vultures but Chimera waved her hand dismissively to shoo them away as though they were nothing but flies.
Curiosity gnawed through Chimera’s caution as she drifted towards him with a leisurely flap of her wings. Her head cocked to the side, intently studying his static body. Her Hypersenses were unable to resolve why he remained still; they were unable to even discern his level of consciousness. The gravity orb on her waist shimmered slightly as she delicately touched down on the water and stood upon it like a water nymph.
She peered down at his body, still intensely curious. His jaw was ajar and perpendicular to slowly ebbing waterline, his head was partially submerged from being on such a sharp incline. The numerous slash and scorch marks along his armour were gradually repairing themselves but with that exception, Dragon continued to remain still. Chimera bent over further to examine his Control Medallion, partially hidden beneath the crimson waterline. The outer ring still simmered and the water looked to be bubbling ever so softly.
Her hand had all but finished regenerating while she bent down to examine Dragon in greater detail when his Control Medallion blazed to life in a shower of crimson energy. Before she could react, Dragon’s body sprang upright and his right fist drove itself as hard as it could into her face.
The blow was weighted with enough force that the armour along Dragon’s arm, up to his elbow, exploded from the sheer velocity of the impact. The blow itself connected squarely with her Control Medallion as well. Milliseconds prior to the impact, Chimera saw bands of energy wrap about the incoming fist and begin to dissolve it away.
Chimera landed on the beach, her body writhed in agony from the impact, her body twitched and convulsed in a foetal position. Dragon remained motionless, deadlocked in his stance. The right arm extended outward, the fist and everything up to his wrist was dissolved away in an ashen black stump and yet it appeared he did not recognize the pain. In fact, he appeared to recognize nothing, or at least give credit to the existence of anything else at the moment.
The Revyugs dove to the aid of their fallen leader. A small chuckle snuck away from Dragon’s maw as it broke into the faintest of smiles. He crouched down and leapt into the air to meet the surging throngs of Revyugs. The enormous jaws opened wide and let loose a torrent of hellish plasma flames. The ones closest to him were incinerated point the past of being ash, those behind attempted to shield themselves only to find the blood red plasma blades cut through their feebly erected pressure cannon shielding and through their flesh.
His movements eluded the non Colossal Revyugs and they were the first to die. The Colossals managed to stave him off for a few moments longer, though his ravenous plasma blades still bit through their shielding as well, in conjunction with his Shadow Reaver he managed to instil terror within their ranks before ending their lives.
A snarl of disgust came from him as he watched the body parts rain down like a macabre snowfall. He remained there in the skyline; his gravity orb shimmered with a steady red glow. His reptilian lips were curled back in a feral growl and dripped blood. He looked down once more to see Chimera stagger to her feet before he dropped to the earth to greet her.
The landing blew grit and entrails across the blood soaked beach. Chimera shielded her face with a raised forearm and swayed slightly on her legs. The force the impact Dragon’s original punch still lingered in his head, with her brain still quivering slightly in pain.
She watched him carefully as he stood up from his crouch. Something’s different… She mused to herself. She dashed forward and was in shock as he evaded her quick onslaught of slashing attacks, almost in a mocking fashion as he kept his hands slack at his sides. She began to grow more infuriated at his laughter as she continued to be unable to land any blows. His enormous fanged mouth was spread in a sadistic Cheshire cat grin.
Her attacks grew more reckless as frustration crept into her mind, she extended her plasma claws and attempted to slash Dragon across his chest only, to her horror, to witness Dragon slip beneath the brash sweeping attack and deliver a jaw splitting uppercut to her chin. Blood sprayed forth from the segmented armour but Dragon was not finished yet, to her dismay, Chimera found Dragon had stolen behind her and with his right clawed hand, took hold of her shoulder, spun her about and drove his left elbow across her face. The force of the impact stripped Chimera of her armour in a shower of bio armour and underlying flesh.
A low wicked cackle came from Dragon’s throat as Chimera whirled away, her right hand pressed against the ragged wound; the look of dismay in her eyes betrayed her otherwise calm demeanour. Dragon remained motionless, his head cocked to the side as though he were studying her for the first time. All the while the Cheshire cat grin remained upon his battered face.
“I’m impressed,” Chimera said as she did her best to compose herself. She was painfully aware that there was something very different about him, just in his posture and the sound of his laughter. “I never thought you had this in you Dragon.” A low dark chuckle came from him; his shoulders shook with the resonating snigger.
“This is not Dragon you are speaking to Chimera…” Chimera froze at the diametric shift in tone. Her spine felt a very vulnerable shiver of fear snake down its length. His voice was slick, magnetic and salty, she hung on every word and albeit terrified at this sudden change, she was inexplicably drawn to this voice and thirsty for him to continue to speak. “Can you not tell the difference between us?”
“Us?” Chimera’s curiosity peaked once more and it cost her dearly.
Dragon took advantage of her momentary lapse in defence and came forward with such blinding speed Chimera was unable to recognize him, he moved so quickly it was like a silvery streak, that was until he came back into full view, with both of his extended plasma claws buried into her chest. She gagged and splattered blood on his face, still in shock at his incredible increase in movement. Her lungs were literally on fire as the plasma claws immolated the flesh within.
“What,” he crooned softly, his fangs millimetres away from the side of her head. “You think I am Dragon?” She gagged on the blood that began to pool and boil in her lungs as she tried to speak.
“Who are you?” She managed to gurgle, blood foamed at her mouth; the plasma claws had impaled her in such a delicate way that they had severed the nerves along her spinal column; he had effectively paralyzed her within Dragon’s steely grip.
“Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am, well, let’s just find out shall we?”
Chimera’s blood became like ice in her veins at the unbridled savagery and yet the alluring magnetism of this voice. At that instant he slammed his head into hers, blood splattered from both as their armour splintered at the bone crunching impact. Chimera did her best to pull herself away; she felt his fiery hot plasma claws grate against her ribcage as they reluctantly relinquished their blistering grip upon her flesh. The nerves along her body did their best to reconstitute themselves whilst her gravity orb gave off rapid pulses of light as she sped away from a still smiling Dragon, or whatever it was that was contained within his body. His shoulders were still hunched over and his mouth was still in that twisted grin as he laughed at her feeble escape attempt.
This is not like you Jane. The salty voice ebbed through her mind.
Chimera’s mind whirled with confusion but had little time to revisit the statement as Dragon came after her with a vengeance. She ducked below a clawed swipe and drove her knee into his face. She quickly caught him beneath both of his arms in an inverted full nelson wrestling style hold and quickly popped both of his shoulders from their sockets.
The wings were the next challenge Chimera had to overcome as their sharpened plasma spikes ground against her like sandpaper. She preformed a front flip twist that arced over Dragon to evade the next forward onslaught of his wings, all the while the same unsettling grin. She took hold of the wings, her hands cut to the bone by the sharp spikes as she wretched as firmly and savagely as she could. The joints gave way under the tremendous pressure and the wings, albeit unwillingly, tore loose from Dragon’s body at the joints. She let out a cry of pre-emptive victory only to notice Dragon laugh in a cruel monstrous tone.
Why is he laughing?
Her mind reeled with more confusion at this paradigm shift of Dragon’s typical persona. She grabbed his blood-splattered shoulder and spun him around to face him; his shoulders sagged, disjointed at his sides, all the while he continued his hyena laughter. She drove her fist into his chin and watched his head barely snap backward, still a grin painted on his face as blood seeped from his fanged maw. She jumped backward as the Dragon Buster materialized in her right hand. Dragon snarled with a feral glaze that frothed over his eye plates and took off in a hellish charge towards her. She smirked sardonically at his stupidity and dashed forward.
The two met with enough force to momentarily blind the casual observer from the release of energy. As she landed she looked over her shoulder to witness Dragon, who stood motionless, moments passed before the blood sprayed from both shoulders subsequently followed by his arms falling to the ground. She grinned again as he turned to face her.
Her blood ran cold again at the look of serenity and enjoyment on his face. The look was unmistakable; it looked to be etched into his very armour. He dashed forward once more as Chimera felt confusion and infuriated. She lunged forward with her Dragon Buster to skewer him only to stare in horror at what came forth from his mouth. His jaws opened wide and from the dark abyss within his mouth an enormous bio armoured tongue exploded outward and impaled Chimera through the shoulder. Her aim with the Dragon Buster faltered and scathed Dragon along the stump of one of his shoulders rather then the intended target of his head.
Chimera tried to pull herself away from Dragon only to discover that the tongue, bladed as it was, had wrapped itself about her underlying skeleton and with a snap of his head, flung her into the sky as the armoured tongue sawed through her flesh as he tore itself loose. The Wraith whirled about to reorient herself to see the enormous tongue and Dragon’s tail work in conjunction to reattach the severed limbs and appendages to its body.
Morbid fascination festered in her mind as she replayed the recent events through her mind. With a casual flick of her wrist, legions of battled starved Revyugs dove from the sky and charged across the ground towards Dragon.
“Let’s see you survive that!” She scoffed, her hand still clenched to the ragged wound on her shoulder. “I’ll let them remind you who is in control.” She tried to convince herself as the motionless Dragon was engulfed by hordes of ravenous Revyug soldiers.
Chimera waited, her arms crossed, her wounds stitched themselves closed, and yet her Hypersenses continually fed her information that was beyond rational logic. Buried deep within the swarming mass of Revyugs, Dragon was still alive. To her dismay he was more then alive, he appeared to be healthier now then he was during their initial encounter. She waved her hand and like a sea of hornets, the Revyugs divided to allow Chimera a glimpse at the epicentre. Her jaw dropped and her temper flared.
Dragon stood there; shoulders sagged with exertion and yet still rippled with vitality. His wings were soaked in blood as it poured off him like waterfalls. His arms hung low, his plasma claws extended and sizzled as the grizzly entrails cooked like macabre shish kabobs. His body was marred by hundreds of slash and burn marks. Flesh was scored from his body down to the point of bone being exposed but as Chimera watched incredulously, the flesh was repairing itself faster then she’d ever seen. She caught his eye plates and was disturbed by the noticeable change, the overall body language as back to normal.
“Is that the best you can do?” He laughed as blood flowed from his maw like rivers. “I wake up and you send your lackeys after me, too chicken to come down here and fight me yourself?” Dragon roared at Chimera as he filled his lungs with air heavily saturated in blood.
Chimera cocked her head in response to his words. Woke up…so he was unconscious?
A Revyug spine, fashioned into a crude spear, which whistled past her head, disrupted her inner thoughts. She grunted with annoyance and was still slightly apprehensive about engaging him in combat but that was a choice that was forfeit to her at the time being. Dragon tore into the sky with a furious beating of his wings. Chimera involuntarily recoiled and barely managed to deflect the leading punch of Dragon. The two continued to trade blows in the sky, Revyugs like eager and anxious dogs awaiting Chimera’s command to enter into the fray.
Chimera continued to act defensively, still unsure of how to handle this new anomaly. She continued to parry and block Dragon’s advances without much difficulty. Her mind was sufficiently distracted that he was able to score small scathing slashes along her armour but she was otherwise safe. He’s used his power booster the entire time and he’s still in control, what’s going on?
The last thought ended abruptly without an answer as Dragon pressed on with his assault and began to claw through Chimera’s expert defensive arts. She gagged as one of his punches caught her by surprise in her solar plexus. As her body doubled over involuntarily due to the vacuum of oxygen he followed through with a swift whirl to which he drove his other fist into her mouth. Her head snapped back but not before Dragon’s clawed hands took hold of her Hyper Sensory Spikes and drove her head down upon his knee. The instant impact occurred a concussive wave of air rippled through the sky.
The pain rippled down Chimera’s spine and ignited her resolve and pushed her caution to the back of her mind as her tail wrapped itself around his leg and like a whip, snapped backward and jerked Dragon through the sky and flung him away. By the time he reoriented himself Dragon was on the receiving end of Chimera’s fist, quickly followed by a quick succession of more blows to the face and chest. His plasma claws exploded out of his forearms with such force that the bio armour burnt black.
Chimera noted the sharp temperature spike and ducked beneath a wild slash that seemed to burn the very essence of the air. Dragon spun backward and kicked Chimera with his feet squarely in her chest. She snarled with contempt and condescendingly snapped at him as she took hold of his clawed feet, buried deep into her chest plates and whirled him about before she released him, followed by a quick series of Plasma Cannons.
“You are just a boy! A coward! You can never beat me because you are afraid!”
Dragon caught the first Plasma Cannon on his shoulder and felt the flesh immolate before his enormous wings could encompass his body and absorb the rest. He let out a howl that caused the air to quiver; he unleashed the Plasma Cannon energy stored in his wings via his Explosive Burst in an enormous omni directional ring. Chimera was inches out of range, although the more intent Revyugs that were encroaching upon their battle found themselves atomized by the sudden discharge.
Dragon capitalized upon the opportunity of momentary dismay to dash forward and resume the bloody exchange of blows. The pace quickened between the two and Chimera found his ferocity and skill of his attacks to geometrically increase. A long slash along her chest provided the evidence as he slammed his elbow into her face.
“I’ve heard enough out of that mouth of yours.” Dragon snarled, his tongue lanced forward and wrapped itself around her throat and cut deeply into the armour but before it could slit both of her carotid arties Chimera responded with a her right plasma extended clawed fingertips deep into his chest and the other skewered the prehensile tongue and tore it off.
Dragon continued to parry Chimera’s legs with his own as their tails intertwined in a violent tango of blood and pain. He locked his hand about the wrist of Chimera’s hand that was hilt deep in his chest and tore it from his flesh before he violently twisted the elbow and dislocated it to the point where it was inverted with respect to its natural range of motion. His other clawed hand balled itself into a fist and drove it repeatedly into Chimera’s face, always shy of her control medallion.
Chimera fired her Plasma Laser sporadically at his fist and managed to strike it, however even as the flesh exploded away in ashen black chunks, the skeletal fist still struck her face with enough force to momentarily pop the blood vessels beneath the armour spray out of the numerous slash and claw marks along the armour.
The two continued their zigzagging fighting, Chimera quickly noting that she was beginning to lose her advantage and that the battle would soon be in his favour. She summoned her Dragon Buster once more and ran him through squarely in the chest. Dragon did not wince or apparently note the enormous rapier blade in his body as the Dual manifested in his outstretched skeletal hand. Bio boosted flesh did its best to slither along the wound and repair itself as Dragon brought the axe across with the intent of severing Chimera’s head.
She attempted to pry herself loose from Dragon’s body only to find his other hand wrapped tightly about her wrist and held her in place. She glanced up from her hand to stare into Dragon’s eyes and noted that same Cheshire Cat grin, yet it was clearly not that other entity, this was Dragon in control.
The axe came with the force of a freight train and Chimera acrobatically flung herself backward only to have her Hypersensory Spikes cleaved. Before Dragon could strike again with a backhanded swing, Chimera swung her head forward and head butted him in the face. Dragon refused to relinquish his hold and Chimera gurgled a scream of pain as she found the Dual wedged firmly into her neck, blood sprayed from the wound as Dragon laughed mercilessly, his enormous monstrosity of a tongue fully regenerated and poised to skewer Chimera through the temple.
At that instant two-dozen Colossal Revyugs teleported around Dragon and forcefully tore him loose from Chimera, thousands more received the mental command to engage him. Dragon let out another blood curdling howl, his Sonic Hurricane tore apart hundreds as he broke away from the Colossals and tore them apart with little effort from his Dual and extended plasma claws. Chimera watched in morbid fascination as he clawed and fought through the ranks of the Revyugs. His armour was covered in thousands of slash and scorch marks, entire sections of his armour were torn from his body and yet he continued to fight onward.
Blood blurred his vision as his eye plates were smashed or otherwise shattered and one of his Hypersensory orbs was savagely torn off. His eyes however were focused entirely on Chimera. His body acted out of instinct and reflex as he fought his way closer and closer towards her. With each enormous breath Dragon could smell her fear all the more clearly. His elbow came up and drove itself into the face of a Colossal and in an instant his plasma blades extended out the opposite side of its head before he ripped them loose and continued his warpath of decimation towards her without any signs of slowing.
Chimera watched in disbelief as her troops continued to fall against a single foe. Even those that attempted to utilize their Mega Smashers found that Dragon somehow managed to survive, albeit he would be burnt nearly to a crisp but he continued. She watched with dismay as his flesh continually regenerated at such an astonishing rate. Her Hypersenses narrowed their sights upon him and began to relay the further dismal information into Chimera’s mind.
As he hacked and slashed his way through the hordes, he was healing, not by the method in which he went about butchering them, but by the way in which he did it, messily, with plenty of blood being splattered on him. The armour itself absorbed the blood and accelerated his healing. In essence, every bloody wound he inflicted offered him a significant chance to heal.
She snapped her Dragon Buster forward and more Revyug troops teleported in behind her and rushed forward. Dragon whirled in a spin to avoid a Mega Smasher blast from one to turn and fire his own Plasma Cannon and watch it punch through its chest and immolate its body. Another shot him in the back with a Pressure Cannon only to find it swallowed within the enormous dragonic wings and Dragon’s tail lash forward like a darting snake and spear through its head. He spun about again to be tackled by a squad of Colossal Revyugs. Dragon let out another soul piercing howl and combined his Sonic Hurricane with his Plasma Breath, which incinerated the majority of those before him and within moments he rotated his body and scorched the rest.
He turned himself upright and erected himself to look at Chimera. He folded his arms and the savage grin was once more on his face. Chimera looked about and could hardly believe it. There he hovered, his armour, still badly mangled but still active, and to her dismay, all of the troops about her were gone, he’d killed and chewed through all of them.
“It wasn’t supposed to be like this!” She screamed at him, her Dragon Buster quivered with rage although it looked as though some fear crept into it as well. “You aren’t supposed to be like this!” She slashed the air until her arm was fully extended out to the side. “You’re supposed to be dead and broken, not smiling! You are supposed to break. I killed everything you held precious to you! Your mother, your father, your sister, your entire family is extinct! Gone! You are the last!”
Dragon slowly shook his head. Chimera was galled by his apparent nonchalant attitude.
“You’re wrong Chimera.”
“What!?”
“You were made from me, there are actually two of us,” his head slowly rose from his downward gaze. “But you will be right though, because by the time I’m done with you, I will be the last.”
“You don’t have it in you!” She snapped.
“Don’t I?” He motioned with both of his hands at the devastated battlefield below. The earth was drowned in crimson. “You’re afraid of me now. I can smell it; you pushed me to this point Chimera. Its all your fault…” he laughed with a chilling ripple in his tone. “The irony, Chimera, is delicious.”
Before she could even reply he streaked through the air and met her with another thunderous uppercut to her midriff. She gagged from the force of it and was in sheer awe and terror at his lightning speed. “Is there something you wanted to say?”
“Its not supposed to be this way!” She bellowed and caught him by surprise with a fierce elbow to the cheek and a quick chain of kicks, each raptor clawed foot, tore strips of flesh from his already mangled chest plates. She whirled in a backwards arc through the air and drove both of her feet into his chest, the force of the impact splintered the armour and left indentations in the bio armour.
Dragon was flung backward; his gravity orb compensated and stabilized his movement in time to be attacked by a livid Chimera once more. Her plasma claws raked his blocking forearms and she stabbed her Dragon Buster into his left shoulder and tore it savagely out of him, his collarbone and most of his scapula were left exposed to the frigid air.
“I am supposed to lead a glorious campaign of beautiful destruction with you as my trophy piece!”
Dragon caught Chimera’s forearm before it could rake his face again and then caught her other wrist and brought them down to her sides before he head butted her, the force of the impact shattered both of their Plasma Lasers. His tail bound itself about hers as he gruffly locked the prehensile-clawed thumbs of their wings together in an intimate embrace of pain.
“I’ve got news for ya Chimera, you ain’t leading but two things: Jack and shit, and Jack just left town!” Before Chimera could protest his mouth opened wide and her pupils shrank to pinpricks as she saw the enormous armoured tongue lance forward.
A howl of unexpected pain came from Dragon’s mouth as the armoured tongue disintegrated away as tendrils of green energy crackled and danced upon them. Chimera barely understood what was happening but she knew it had something to do with her Control Medallion and with that she broke away to try and think. She commanded more Revyugs to her side and in that instant half a dozen more teleported in.
Dragon roared at them like a feral beast as they stepped between him and his quarry. They lasted no more then a few moments as Dragon continued on his warpath and the ying and yang once more became deadlocked with one another. Dragon continued to hammer away at Chimera with such ferocity that she found herself losing more ground. In desperation she teleported a unit remover to her as Dragon clawed his way through another small way of Colossal Revyugs she had summoned to stall and distract him.
Dragon paid no heed to Chimera in that moment as he savagely tore apart the last Colossal’s body in grizzly fashion. Its bloody gore was only a teardrop in the sea of red that flowed beneath him. It let out a piteous cry of suffering as it died, Dragon made sure of it as his Plasma Breath ignited every functional nerve along its armoured flesh after he’d torn it in half at the base of the spine.
He turned, his mouth frothed with the blood of the Revyugs, bits of bio armour and what could be ligaments and tendons sizzled on the fiery plasma fangs, their charred aroma was like a pleasant seasoning in Dragon’s nostrils. He took full view of Chimera, his eye plates were glazed with the fully released bloodlust that he had fought so hard to repress within himself.
Dragon lunged at Chimera; plasma claws extended, jaws open, and tongue extended, a wild monstrous cry burst from his lungs. At that instant Chimera brought forward her hidden left hand, the unit remover open and active, the tendrils of energy came to life and encompassed both in a brilliant flash of white light.

OOC: takes place during Kaisers fight
“What the Hell is happening to me”
The words rang inside his head over and over as he stumbled down through the halls of the ship he was on, all the colour gone from him, he looked so pale that the only thing setting him apart from a corpse was the fact that he was still moving. Since he was forced into becoming a test subject for some un-known zoalord he never once remembered getting sick, or feeling this weak.
Feeling weaker and weaker as time went on Airius couldn’t help but begin to think that his own mortality had finally caught up with him. Refusing to let death catch up with him he decided that mo matter what he was gonna find some way to get chronos scientists to reprocess him even if it meant that he’s have to kidnap a group of them and force them to do it.
Teleporting off of the ship he materialised in a destroyed subway tunnel. All around him was human corpse’s most of which looked as if they’re were mauled by a savage beast, with arms and leg’s missing, a massive pools of blood under the corpse’s it was evident that these people had died fairly recently. Using what power he could muster he lifted himself from the tunnel floor and floated over the ruined corpse’s and rubble that littered it.
Ahead of him a small glimmer of light caught his attention, just as he was about to inspect what it was the wall to the left of him exploded showering him in concrete and metal. Expecting revyug’s to be flooding into the tunnel airius was more than a little surprised to see a group of humans in military outfits standing before him. His ears still ringing from being so close to the explosion when it went off it was a short time before Airius heard what appeared to be the lead soldier was saying to him.
“I said are you alright kid?”
“huh...what umm yeah”
Moments later a middle aged looking man wearing the same military clothing came running down the tunnel obviously out of breath he gave Airius a strange look before reporting to the apparent leader of the unit
“Sir we’re too late the survivors in this tunnel are all dead, from the looks of it those things found them not that long ago.”
“FUCK…. If they keep this up we‘re gonna be lucky to find anyone left alive in these tunnels”
The squad leader took one more look around the dark tunnel section then started back through the hole in the wall before taking one last look over his shoulder.
“Well come on kid no point sticking round here where those things are liable to get find you. You’ll be safer with us until we make it to the evac point…. If those things haven‘t found it yet”
“And where may I ask is it that you think is gonna possibly be any safer than here”
“There’s a facility under heavens tower, chronos is regrouping it’s forces there in an attempt to defend it long enough to get us evacuated to some ship they have in orbit.”
Stepping through the opening into the room beyond Airius saw that there was another dozen or so soldiers and a few Powered Zerebututh and Zektole class hyper zoanoids accompanying the 2 that he had met just moments earlier.
“Right boys and girls those fuckers have beaten us to the last group of survivors reported in this section of the city and except for this lucky bastard behind me slaughtered them SO we’re gonna high tale it back to heavens tower so we can be evacuated. Baker, Samson your on point MOVE OUT”
Back in the tunnel the mysterious light begins to glow brightly and after a few seconds laughter begins to echo around the abandoned tunnel.
1 hour later
Airius sauntered along behind the group of humans and zoanoids as they slowly made there way though the subway system towards heavens tower occasionally stopping as more convulsions forced him to his knee’s.
Unable to shake the feeling that someone or something was following them. He was about to shrug it off as just his imagination when he started to hear a female voice echoing inside his head
“You can sense my presence can’t you? You know I’m near. I’m so close I can almost reach out and touch you.”
At that exact moment Airius felt a hand on his shoulder, spinning around expecting a revyug he was relieve to see it was only one of the Soldiers that he was following.
“Come on or you’ll be left behind.”
“Yeah I’ll be right there.”
Jogging along to catch up with the group he heard the female voice once more before it and the presence he was sensing disappeared.
“Ha ha ha ha ha Enjoy the time you have left boy, we’ll meet soon enough and when we do I’ll be the last thing you ever see.”
After another 10 minutes of clambering over fallen support beams and through de-railed subway cars the group arrived at what appeared to be a dead end, moments later the ground began to shake and the wall split apart revealing a large corridor at the end of which was a rather large room filled with humans and zoanoids.
"Great finally here now where the hell are the lab's?"
Guyver Ashtaron - May 25, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
OOC: I have to admit that I have lost interest in this RP and honestly I cannot bring myself into writing 20 page long posts like many do. I think this kind of long-page RP is too much for me. Sorry but I am doubtful that I can continue on so.... Buster shall vanish.
IC:
Buster continued to fight, struggling against all the Revyugs that closed in on the metallic blue fledgeling guyver. They drove their blades deep into his body and Buster coughs up blood. He have no wish to die out here and finally he cannot take it, he dont want to die!
Suddenly he glows all white and a white blast slays all the Revyugs around him and the three nearest guyvers around him. Then he just goes hollow and vanishes, leaving a trail of light that slowly vanishes as it hits the ground. But there is no register of guyver death however, but something else happened. Whatever happened to Buster, there is no answer to that and probably there will never be any answer to it.
Nonetheless, Buster have vanished and is gone. Dead or alive, his fate is unknown.
Kaiser Dragoon - May 26, 2007 04:09 AM (GMT)
OOC: Ah ha! It's done!
IC:
The light faded and much to Chimera’s horror, Dragon remained fully armoured and with both of his plasma claws buried hilt deep into her chest. His enormous maw clamped upon her neck. She splattered blood that began to pour from her mouth. “How…?”
Dragon then tore the unit remover from her arm, his claws stripped the bio armour from her body as he did so and turned the remover upon Chimera as his jaws relinquished their hold upon Chimera. The blinding light encompassed both once more but as moments later, as the light faded Chimera remained unharmed. “Interesting.” Dragon mused before Chimera bashed him in the back of the head with her tail and tore herself loose, her Head Laser fired another quick volley and caused the remover upon his hand to explode in a small fireball, scathing his bio armour.
She commanded another throng of Revyugs to her side and as they advanced upon Dragon she grabbed as many as she could and devoured them as quickly as her body would allow. Dragon scoffed at the Revyugs and took them apart at his leisure, large chunks of their flesh were ripped from their bodies and their blood splashed across his armoured face.
“What’s wrong Chimera, why are you hiding?” He laughed as his fist punched through the back of a Revyug and buried itself up to the wrist into the Revyug directly behind it. “Could it be that fear that’s frothing off of you? Is that it?” He roared the last sentence with enough force that the Sonic Hurricane punched a hole through the combined shields of three Colossal Revyugs.
Chimera noted in the elation in his voice that he was enthralled with the bloodshed. He drove his tail through the gut of one Revyug and used it like a club to bat away the other onrushing Revyugs into bloody chunks. Chimera drew her Dragon Buster and swallowed her worry and drove forward. Dragon reacted with barely enough time to evade her first slash and kicked a dazed Revyug into the blade’s path. It cleanly vivisected to the degree that it was unaware of its plight until its left half slid off from its right side as smoothly as silk.
Dragon brought forth his Dual and the two enormous weapons clashed with enough force to drive both wielders backward. They continued to parry and block one another’s attacks while they zigzagged through the skyline until Chimera utilized the speed of her Dragon Buster and slashed off his wrist and drove her foot down upon his skull with a forward flip that knocked Dragon into the blood soaked ground below.
He rebounded to his feet in time to block another downward strike from Chimera’s Dragon Buster. The two enormous weapons ground against one another, molten sparks of plasma filled the air between the two, their blood stained maws inches from one another, each with a snarl and a curl lipped growl etched upon their battle-tried faces. The two entered into a blitzkrieg of sword and axe play. Revyugs hovered above, eager to interject at Chimera’s whim.
Dragon did his best to keep pace with Chimera but the sheer size of his Dual made it incredibly difficult to match the blurring speed of the Dragon Buster. He grunted in annoyance more then pain as she sliced below his intended parry and nearly severed his right leg from his hip. He jumped backward and took hold of one of Twin Fangs and flung it at her as a stall tactic to give his leg time to properly reattach itself.
Chimera grinned to herself. I still have one advantage…
She launched herself forward and swatted the crescent sickle Twin Fang aside with a casual swat of her Dragon Buster as she sped towards him; both of her hands firmly took hold of the pommel and intensified her grip as she brought the paper thin blade down upon Dragon once more.
He parried the blade inches from his head. With a roar he threw her backward with sheer strength and brought his axe about in a wide arc in an attempt to cut her down at her waist. Chimera jumped and landed atop the axe like a pixie. She quickly kicked Dragon in the face with a harsh roundhouse kick and rammed her Dragon Buster hilt deep into his chest. She tore the blade loose in a twisted arc to rip away as much flesh as she could from his body.
Dragon’s Plasma Laser struck her firmly in the chest and blew her backward. His left hand gripped his chest and with a howl he pried off the mangled chest plate and blazed forward and brought the Dual down upon her with both hands wrapped about the enormous axe. Chimera deflected the majority of the momentum of the blow to the side and twirled to run him through once more in the chest. The Dragon Buster pierced the opposing chest plate and burst out of his back. Blood splattered across her face as she finally began to smile.
“You’re too slow. You can’t keep up with me and my sword.”
Dragon snarled and choked on the blood that quickly flooded his lungs and gurgled up his throat. “No shit Sherlock.” He bashed his knee into her chest and quickly used the flat of his foot to kick her loose before he once more tore off the other skewered chest plate, the mega smasher cell bleed and oozed down his body.
He forced his throat muscles upwards and vomited the blood out of his system while Chimera stood in her familiar cocky stance. Dragon panted hard, his lungs burnt with unholy agony. He could feel the tips of his fingers twinge with numbness as he curled his free hand into a fist. He could feel the desperation creep into mind, the hopelessness of it all. This blood soaked battlefield was only a minuscule representation of what was occurring all around the world. The hopelessness was suddenly halted by a small voice in the back of his head. It felt familiar and yet alien to him. It sounded so much like him and yet, it was unmistakably foreign.
You are holding back… show her; show all of them, the monster that they made.
The words faded away into the back of his mind. Yet as they did his disposition changed and Chimera took stock of it with a wisp of fear that slid down her spine. He glared at Chimera and charged forward, his axe blade ground against the bloody earth; sparks ignited the blood from the sheer intensity of the heat. Chimera brought up her sword to block and as the Dual came down upon the Dragon Buster, brilliant crimson and black energies exploded from the enormous battle-axe.
Chimera was more surprised then shocked as her Hypersenses adapted to the high level of energy and she saw what had occurred. The Dual had transmuted itself into an enormous zanbatô style sword. The enormous blade flared with energy as it pressed against the thin bladed Dragon Buster. At that, Chimera’s strength under the enormous sword began to buckle with Dragon’s harsh and dark tone laughter adding to the shift in power.
“I would say something about how the balance of power has shifted, but that would be ever so clichéd of me.” He snapped at her before he threw her backward with a fierce burst of strength.
Chimera quickly found herself on the losing end of the conflict as her lone advantage was taken from her. She swore and brought her Dragon Buster down upon the newly transfigured Dual and to her surprise, her own weapon morphed into a sleek but lethal axe. She hooked the axe blade over the Dual and with a wrench, tore it away from Dragon’s grip. She slammed an open palm against his still regenerating chest and fired a series of Plasma Cannons followed by her Plasma Laser.
Dragon, flung backward, and scorched knocked off of his feet. He struggled to pull himself into an upright crouched position to see Chimera loom over him, Dragon Buster poised to strike. His clawed hand, carved up and trembling with agony reached out to his Dual. As she began to bring the blade down, his gravity orb blazed to life and the Dual cut through the air.
Chimera’s armoured face rippled with shock and then pain. The Dragon Buster had halted in a spasm millimetres above Dragon’s skull. Chimera’s body quivered and shook with a violent shiver. She stumbled backward; her left hand reached behind her back and felt the fiery sting of the Dual’s blade. The enormous zanbatô style sword had skewered her through the back.
Dragon seized the opportunity and lunged forward. Chimera reacted without thought and tore the Dual out of her back, twirled it in her hand as she brought it forward and stabbed it through his shoulder. At that momentary halt of his forward momentum, Chimera unleashed a banshee like scream of resonating Plasma Flame and her Sonic Hurricane that engulfed Dragon in his entirety.
Chimera laughed in her mind as she watched the brilliant flames alongside the sonic and electrical energies gnaw away at Dragon’s body. His wings were unable to properly absorb the multiple and intertwined forms of energy and twisted and writhed in the intense inferno. He shielded his face with his forearms but it was to no avail. His entire body was encompassed and suffered severely for it. The bio armour charred and began to vaporize under the intense heat as the electrical energy played havoc with his nervous system. The Hypersensory spikes dissolved away while others exploded. He could feel the plasma sear through the armour and he howled in anguish. His armoured fingers that desperately enclosed themselves about his control medallion began to fray, all that he could hear was Chimera cackle in his mind as she continually sprayed him with flames.
You are still holding back…kill her! The voice roared in his head and yet he was unsure of he let out a roar himself. Dragon, burnt blacker then sin, clawed himself upright and charged forward through the flames to their source, all the while he snarled and howled like a demon possessed. Chimera was rooted to the spot in trepidation and horror as two black skeletal hands wrapped themselves around her throat and crushed her windpipe, effectively silencing the shrill scream of flames.
If Dragon could see Chimera’s eyes they would have swollen several sizes larger then normal. His steely hands wrung her neck as tightly as they could. He was unsure why, but he felt as though he were towering over her as his scorched muscles along his biceps flexed as he continued to throttle her.
Hundreds more Revyugs found themselves teleported to her side but before any could react, Dragon rounded upon them with a feral ferocity only ever dreamt of in the darkest and most twisted nightmares. They were stripped of their flesh as Dragon blazed through their ranks. No words came from his mouth, only howls and roars of rage and anguish. Chimera was beside herself in horror, transfixed to the ground as she watched Dragon dispatch all of them as though they were nothing but mere pests. His tongue wrapped about one Revyug’s skull and in another instant it was crushed into a bloody pulp. Their blood splattered across his charred black armour and was quickly absorbed into him as his jaws clamped about another’s throat before he tore loose the flesh and bone that connected the Revyug’s head to its shoulders.
When he finished devouring the flesh and what looked to be the brains of the last Revyug Chimera had commanded to her aid, she took a step backward at the look of pure unadulterated malice upon his face. He roared like some prehistoric predator and dropped the carcass to the ground as he began to stalk towards her. She looked to the sky to see one of the descending Advent ships and took to the sky for safety, only to note Dragon in hot pursuit, jet streams of flames sprayed from his mouth as his flesh began to stitch itself into something less monstrous.
The Hypersensory spikes began to emerge from the top of his skull like horns. Chimera watched in fascination as even more then before began to protrude from his head as though the spikes represented a demonic crown. They erupted in three rows along his head with nine in total, three in each row, the two outside rows extended up higher then the central row, which was far less prominent in height.
His overall height, Chimera judged as she ducked below a punch, had increased by three feet. The boost in height forced gave him a few extra inches of striking distance, which Chimera quickly discovered when his right hook popped her jaw out of place only to have it painfully reset by the corresponding left fist striking her face.
Through the splintered eye plates Chimera also noted that as the armour continued to repair itself the colouration scheme drastically altered. The soft predominate grey of the armour had been replaced by a dark jade; the once vibrant evergreen stylized flames were etched in obsidian across his armour. The eye plates shimmered and became a threatening and ominous hue of golden yellow. He smashed his elbow into her chest and raked his plasma blade along her chest. He roared once more as he seized her hand and crushed the flesh beneath the armour at the wrist. He rammed his shoulder into her gut and quickly accelerated towards the slowly descending ship.
It was then that Chimera realized what he was about to do. “You’re insane, you can’t, and it won’t work!” She half screamed and pleaded. But it was to no avail. Dragon rammed Chimera’s back into the active shields of the ship. Chimera screamed in agony as her Explosive Burst ability automatically activated and began to siphon the massive shield energies. Dragon repeatedly rammed her against the outer wall of the shields until Chimera’s wings overloaded from the sheer amount of energy they had amassed and violently exploded. This combined with Dragon repeatedly bashing Chimera’s plasma blades on her forearms against the shield grid, created a localized disruption to the shield matrix and allowed both to punch through it.
Dragon, fully enthralled in his bloodlust slammed Chimera’s body through the outer hull and through the hundreds of decks of the ship. Her body acted as an unwilling battering ram as Dragon breached the bridge of the ship. He threw Chimera aside like a rag doll as the all Revyugs aboard the ship suddenly teleported to the bridge at the behest of the arrogant and foolhardy advent captain.
It took Dragon only moments to lay waste to the Revyug populace aboard the bridge. Chimera, battered and broken, crawled to her feet and stood a defensive stance, irate in mind at the humiliation he’d caused her but weak in body as the wounds upon her back had caused more harm then she had initially thought. The advent commander quivered at the presence of the monstrosity of Dragon, who howled and thrashed about as more plasma blades erupted out of his flesh, christened in his own blood. Two blades burst forth from each knee, another triple set of blades upon each leg, which started midway, down the shin. Dragon clawed at his face as three more exploded out from his chin and another row of four exploded outward from above each eye plate along the brow line.
The beast lunged at the advent captain with jaws open and eager. His steely grip was no match for the advent and easily lifted him cleanly off of the floor to gaze into his hellish eye plates. Dragon’s breath was rank with blood and plasma which, when combined, inexplicably smelt like sulphur.
Do you duty Wraith, kill the Guyver, I command you! It half screamed in terror and half barked an order at Chimera. The female wraith glanced only once at the Advent and then back at Dragon before she made her decision. She turned and fled the command deck over the ashen corpses of the Revyugs that Dragon had engulfed in plasma flames. The advent looked at Chimera’s fleeting image with horrific dismay before it turned back to Dragon. A low rumble of a laugh came from Dragon’s throat at the look of horror on its face. His Control Medallion pulsed with green energy quickly followed by the piteous screams of the advent as Dragon began to amuse himself with it as though the advent were a mouse a very sadistic cat caught in its claws.
Within moments he had the command codes and with that, he had no further use for the advent and promptly immolated it with a puff of plasma from his black maw. The ship received its new orders and purged all remaining life aboard it without mercy or prejudice, within an instant, the advents noticed one of their ships had vanished, along with one of their overzealous captains.
Dragon had exited the ship prior to its departure to hyperspace. He caught wind of Chimera’s scent and turned to see her fly at her best speed towards another Advent ship. Another booming laugh came from his lungs and he gave chase. He growled with annoyance as Chimera bypassed the shielding before he could utilize her as a battering ram once more. Instead he extended his plasma claws and swooped in a great arc to build speed before he made a b-line blitz towards the ship. The ship, partially aware of what had just transpired due to Chimera being teleported to the bridge, unleashed its own hordes of Revyugs.
Dragon paid them no attention and continued to rocket towards the ship. Those that were foolish enough to stand before himself found themselves decapitated by the extended plasma claws or exploded all together from the sheer force of impact of Dragon against their bodies. The Colossals found his plasma claws were able to bypass their shielding and puncture them as easily as if they had no shields at all. As Dragon continued to gain speed, Chimera, on the bridge, while rapidly devouring as many Revyugs as she could, realized what he was about to do as he suddenly veered towards their general vicinity.
However, before she could telepathically link with the commanding advent it was too late. Dragon’s enormous wings bound themselves about his body like a thick carapace of spikes with the exception of its extended plasma claws and like a bullet shot through glass, Dragon shattered through the shielding and came at the outer hull with such force that he rammed his way through just a few decks shy of the bridge.
Alarms sounded and wailed within the ship as Dragon clawed and slashed his way through the legions of Revyugs to blast his way through the to the bridge. Once more, Chimera fled. She cursed as she fled she cursed as she was chased by Dragon’s hearty laughter before he tore the command codes from the advent through various nefarious means of persuasion.
The Advents noted another of their ships vanished along with another of their captains. Once again this one purged all life aboard before it jumped away into hyperspace. As Chimera entered the sanctuary of a third ship Dragon made his entrance known by a different means. He paused just outside of the shield parameter. The Dual manifested itself in his hand in its sword form and he raised it high above him. He hovered there for a couple of minutes, the advents cocky that there would be nothing he would be able to do to puncture their ship. The enormous blade became coated in ethereal blue fire and in one swift and fluid motion, Dragon brought the Dual down in forward slicing motion and stopped his arm when it was perpendicular to his body.
At that instant, a streak of energy discharged itself from the point of the Dual and slammed into the shielding. The captain nervously scoffed at the feeble attempt, only to realize Dragon had raced towards the point of impact and watched in horror as Dragon rammed his way through. Chimera once again, still not a full strength, ran. Her wings had nearly regenerated from the sheer amount of Revyugs she’d devoured but she was still far from healed, she was still in awe at how Dragon was able to heal so quickly and continue to fight after the tremendous level of punishment was beyond her scope of understanding.
Above the last ship Dragon hijacked, Chimera did her best to scavenge enough flesh to get her back into fighting form but it was futile. Dragon caught up with her just as she consumed the last Revyug and the two began to their bloody dance once more. Dragon fought with such reckless zeal and disregard for himself that it made it virtually impossible for Chimera to score a blow that would affect him. He would merely ignore the inflicted pain and press on. Chimera desperately fought to keep him at bay but he pressed onward with such fanaticism that it truly shook the core of her being, but not only that, but the lack of witty one liners and banter had evaporated away. Dragon had not spoken anything coherent for quite some time.
Her distracted train of thought cost her dearly as Dragon sack his fangs into her shoulder and buried his clawed fingers into her into her freshly re-grown wings. With a quick jerk from his arms, along with his legs braced against the small of her back, he tore off the wings at their joints. Chimera’s gravity orb did its best to compensate for the sudden loss but Dragon whirled about, his tail struck her in the torso with such force that the gravity orb exploded upon contact into a trillion shards. Chimera felt as though time had slowed to a crawl as she stared up at Dragon as she began to fall to the earth below, the Cheshire cat grin etched into the back of her skull.
She dropped from the sky like a lead weight. Dragon waited for her at the crest of the impact crater, his arms crossed and his tail tapped impatiently. Chimera crawled and her hands and knees, blood gushed out of her mouth. “You think you’re big bad and scary now don’t ya? Well I have news for you, you’re still nothing but a scared little boy!” Dragon snorted with contempt at her statement and swung his right fist backward in time to crush the skull of the Colossal that had teleported in silently behind him.
He cocked his head and studied her before he rushed down the crater wall and drove his clawed foot into her chest, the force of the impact sent her airborne but not for long as Dragon whirled into an elegant front flip where he brought the heel of his foot down upon her the base of her neck.
Chimera coughed and splattered more blood out of her mouth as her vision blurred and tripled. Dragon dragged her upright by one of her few remaining Hypersensory spikes and licked the blood from her face with his armoured tongue, its razor sharp edges cut deep into her armour and allowed more blood to flow from the wounds.
The female wraith gathered what inner strength she had and snagged his tongue with her hand and wretched it as hard as she could. Dragon’s head was jerked downward just enough for Chimera to catch him in the chin with her fist only to scream in pain as the blades on his chin extended and shred the flesh on her knuckles and hand. He laughed and released his hold of her. The sudden lose of stability caused her knees to wobble, but that was quickly proven to be a moot point as Dragon reached back with the very same fist and drove it with terrifying force into the center of her face. The blow caused her body to skip across the ground until she came to a rest when she collided with the opposing wall of the impact crater she’d made.
A small laugh began to grow within Chimera as she staggered to her feet and began to painfully clap her hands. “Bravo. You’re a dead man.”
Dragon howled and took off towards her in a burst of speed but before he could even rear his clawed hands back to swipe at Chimera she was encompassed within a Gigantic cocoon. The blast field knocked Dragon backward and an instant later Animus stepped forward, renewed, reinvigorated, and ready, Dragon Buster in hand.
“Now you die!” She snarled and dashed forward.
Dragon raised his forearms and extended his plasma blades as he tried to parry her quick swipes and darting attacks. She sheared his blades off at their base and with a quick elbow to his face to disorient him; she brought down her Dragon Buster and cleaved off both of his arms at the elbow. She ducked below a strike of his tail and with a sweeping kick, knocked him off both of his legs. Dragon’s gravity orb caught him before he hit the ground and spun him about so that both of his legs struck her across the face. She grabbed hold of his feet with her tail and spun about with the blow and slammed him into the crater wall over and over again. She brought him up out of his own impact crater to see the toll of the damage only to bare witness to another mutation that exploded forth from Dragon. His wings shuddered and contorted until they warped themselves into two enormous jointed like lances.
Before Animus could react, Dragon drove both into her eye sockets and tore out the ocular tissue connected to the eye plate. She screamed in pain as blood sprayed about from the now hollow sockets. Her tail released him and Dragon dashed almost instinctively to his two severed arms. As he quickly reattached his severed limbs, Animus spun about and fired a rapid succession of Head Lasers from the array of orbs on her head. Dragon’s wings quickly reverted to their original form and absorbed the energy much to Animus’ astonishment. Yet the astonishment was far from over as the newly reattached forearms began to bubble and contort. Dragon screamed in pain as the forearm armour exploded in a flare of flesh and blood to expose a thick gauntlet like design that covered his entire outer forearm. He snarled and from the gauntlet ten plasma spikes of varying lengths extended from them. His plasma claws also extended and were apparently also longer then what she’d previously seen.
Dragon rushed forward once more, Animus stood her ground and fired more rounds of Plasma Lasers only to watch in dismay as Dragon instinctively deflected them with his newly acquired bracers before he let out a mighty roar that would make any lion quiver, and drove his spiked forearm into her chest. The plasma blades along the gauntlet tore the flesh from her chest in ragged strips. Animus snarled and drove her free hand upwards in a fierce uppercut that sent Dragon sprawling. He shook his demonically horned head twice before he let out another thunderous roar and charged forward again. Animus braced herself, as she awaited another strike but at the last instant Dragon blinked out of existence. Animus roared as Dragon’s plasma claws, which protruded out of Animus’ back, were an additional four feet in length.
The enormous gigantic tail wrapped itself around Dragon in its crushing embrace and slammed him headfirst into the blood-saturated earth, again and again. She continued to cough up blood from her lungs. Before Dragon could be slammed into the earth again, his jaws opened wide and from it an enormous spherical ball of what looked to be condensed plasma exploded forth and hit Animus with tremendous force in the back. She toppled forward, slightly off balance and shocked that Dragon had mutated yet again.
Dragon took full advantage of her momentary awe as he pumped all of his bio energy into his plasma orbs and generated a massive Plasma Cannon in each hand that were pinned to his sides. With a howl of devilish laughter the two oversized spheres of energy exploded. Animus and Dragon were both flung apart; Animus took the brunt of the explosion, although Dragon was once more severely scorched.
He’s willing to kill himself to kill me this isn’t like him…
Dragon staggered to his feet and threw his head back in a thunderous howl once more. Enthralled in rage and agony, he charged at Animus once more. She lashed forward with her Plasma blades only to watch Dragon vault into the sky and unleash dozens of these spherical balls of plasma. Her hands rose instinctively along with her shielding to counter them. As they struck, Animus’ shielding shivered and shook, the sheer velocities of the impacts were forcing Animus’ feet deeper into the ground as it buckled under the stress. Dragon came down with his plasma claws extended and drove them into the shielding.
Animus watched in trepidation as the claws were slowly forcing their way through. Dragon laughed like a demon once more and lashed the shielding with his plasma bladed tongue, as if to further compound her fears. For what felt like hours, Dragon continued to press against Animus’ shields until they finally began to splinter and at last, collapsed under the stress.
Even with her gigantic enhanced reflexes were no match against his feral savagery as he mauled her with his claws, blades, and fangs. His body moved in a blur of rage and vengeance. Splintered memories of everyone Animus had slaughtered flashed in his head as he continued to pound and slash away at her. Her defences were overwhelmed; his blades cut her flesh down to the bone and with an unholy level of strength Dragon, he tore the limbs from their sockets.
Dragon raised his blood right hand and the Dual exploded into his grip in a shower of brilliant light in its sword state. He twirled it so that the enormous weapon was pointed directly at Animus’ control medallion. The gigantic armour upon Animus quivered and trembled as it barely had enough strength to remain attached to what remained of her body.
The enormous blade shimmered with light and just as Dragon let out a bloody curdling scream of revenge, Animus utilized what bio energy she had left and teleported away just as the Dual struck the ground and enveloped everything within a hundred meter radius in ethereal blue light. As it faded moments later, Dragon was the only creature left standing. His Dual buried halfway to the hilt in the blood soaked ground.
At that instant he felt the jolting disappearance of Buster and then a fraction of a second later, Gigantic Tsiriel’s call for help. Dragon tore his Dual from the ground and took the sky in a blaze of orange fire toward his comrade.
Elsewhere
The broken and bloody body of Animus teleported aboard one of the Advent ships high above the conflict. Her armoured retracted and blood quickly began to pool beneath her. She twitched and shuddered in physical and mental anguish. She mumbled to herself as medical staff quickly teleported her to their sickbay and transferred her into a bio tube for immediate regeneration. While the regenerative fluid pooled into the tank Jane continued to chatter to herself in broken and incoherent sentences, but one line was repeated with absolute clarity. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this…it wasn’t supposed to be like this…it wasn’t supposed to be like this…”
Earth
He landed amidst carnage as the Revyugs had fallen upon Tsiriel. Dragon’s maw exploded open and two-dozen balls of plasma erupted forth. The Revyugs exploded in a shower of charred flesh and bio armour. Dragon dashed forward and scooped Tsiriel up and brought him to his feet. It was then that another legion of Revyugs teleported not more then five meters away from them. Dragon snarled and his Hypersenses confirmed that they were surrounded. Two Revyugs parted to allow a familiar face, one that Dragon had not seen in a while.
“Phantom.” The growl as he spoke nearly overshadowed his voice. Dragon’s grip upon his Dual tightened in reflex.
“Kill him.” Phantom said cheerily.
Dragon took a step forward as he clasped the Dual with his other hand, but before he could take a second step he froze in pain. He looked down to see a gigantic Vibrational blade jut out of his chest. He felt time slow to a crawl as he looked over his shoulder to see Tsiriel throw back his head in a mock laugh.
“Surprise!”
Dragon’s head whirled back around as the troop of Revyugs launched forward. Instinct and rage unleashed themselves and Dragon tore himself loose from Tsiriel’s blade and rammed headlong into the Revyugs ranks. Phantom and Gigantic Tsiriel watched, rooted in morbid awe as Dragon slaughtered the troop within a minute. Their blood drained and fleshless corpses scattered about carelessly by Dragon.
Tsiriel cried out in pain, Dragon caught the scent of his fear and fired his Plasma Laser with such precision that it caused the traitor’s Hyperspace orb to explode as well as a large hole blown out his back. Phantom turned to run only to have Dragon cut his legs out from under him just below the kneecap with one of his Twin Fang blades and another precision Plasma Laser shot through his back which exited out his chest, which coincidently destroyed his gravity orb as well. The other Twin Fang had cleaved Tsiriel in half, which separated him from his multiple gravity orbs found on his waistline.
The heavy blood saturated breath made Tsiriel’s stomach flip over twice. Dragon bent down and grabbed hold of the Gigantic’s throat. His clawed fingertips dug well within the armour, enough so that blood began to trickle out from the cracks. Blood splattered out of Tsiriel’s vents as he attempted to laugh between the coughing fits of blood. Dragon’s maw opened wide, a low guttural snarl ebbed out of the darkness of his throat just prior to the prehensile tongue’s lightning quick movements that cut out the sonic emitters and head laser orbs.
“Traitor.”
“Ain’t that the shit?” Tsiriel coughed. “But if you want to be technical amigo, I ain’t the real McCoy.” Dragon cocked his head to the side as he pondered the words and then a deeper growl filled his lungs.
“Wraith.”
“So there is intellect in there and not just brawn, congratulations you stupid-” Dragon’s claws tightened and cut the wraith’s words short.
“Well, go on then, I don’t think ya have it in ya.” He scoffed at Dragon. “You don’t have the stones to kill either of us.” Dragon’s reptilian lips curled into a wolfish grin as he brought the Wraith closer.
“How?”
“Tony never came back aboard your ship, he was captured alongside other allies of yours, but when they created me in his image, they discovered I had latent ability that would presumably manifest as I mutated. I can create and manipulate memories.” He laughed and spluttered more blood from his vents. “I’ve been fucking with you and your team for quite some time.” Those were the last words that the Wraith spoke as Dragon fired another Plasma Laser bolt through its vocal chords.
