this is why i like DDO, none of this kind of crap. if you want these special rewards, you gotta earn favor by doing quests on harder difficulties, you dont have to buy them XD.

Sad thing though.. is this has happened before.. in pretty much every mmorpg EVER... someone has traded 'services' for something they couldn't handle getting themselves in the game.

They're making stratagies.. talking over a ventrillo server (lets you talk in real time with a microphone or something, never used it myself) and the guy, leeroy by name, gets impatient..

so he says
"you know what? screw this.. LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIIIIIIINS" and runs into the middle of the room, getting the attention of every dragon on the map.

Leroy and the guy who wanted the armor, staged the whole thing, they've even admitted this in an interview The did it just for laughs and didnt know it would become to so popular and huge.
