Terrasphere Confederacy:

A governmental body encompassing the earth, it's near space colonies, and Luna (The moon launch platform/city) on the dark side of the moon used for deep space exploration.

In the past century the Earth Sphere has been involved in a civil war between the earth governing body, and it's space colonies. This embittering war cost over a million lives. but a treaty has been signed.

The current standing military force of combined earth and space forces is in excess of 1 million mobile suits, and several hundred thousand ships of the line. The most impressive of this military force is the Gundam style mobile suits.

Cyndonia Coalition:

Created just after the beginning of the previous century, the Martian people were left to their own devices when the earth suddenly "forgot" about the colonists. they we're left in the midst of their terraforming operations.

Left to fend for themselves with the barest of materials they've fought adversity their whole existence. they are a harsh frontier government, brought together by agriculture, industry, and military might.

The Mecha they use have grown from the need to be flexible, they are transformable into three forms, they are veritechs. Their fleet may be small but they are led by the powerful Macross battle fortress.

Aerospace Mining Combine:

A mining guild that has existed since the beginning of outer solar system space exploration. they exhume minerals, gas's and materials from the outer planets for sale to mars and earth.

they are totally neutral in the current war between earth and mars, and do not plan to take sides. they make a sizable profit from both warring armies. however they are not above keeping their "interests' in mind.

The mecha they use are titled orbital frames, they are unlike any other mecha and are highly maneuverable and deadly close combat machines. they seemingly float on air and are considered to be the most advanced machines in the sol system.

Think I'll go with Aerospace Mining Combine with an Anubis-ish looking Orbital frame of sorts.

Oh yes.. Giant mecha gooodness.

Although my only experience playing with mechas was a brief (and I mean brief) game of Robotech (Palladium's **copy-paste** effort) and d20 Modern Mecha Crusade, I want a piece of this action!!

Any guidelines/rule set I can reference from?

if one were to play as AMF, what would they have access to starting out and what about Pilot prostethis, is that acceptable?

Ok, that's 1 CC, 2 AMF(i believe), and a whole slew of Lairites. One question concerning charecters and Mech; what is the starting assorrtment of weaponery and how do you feel about pilot prostethis?
