Title: Guyver:Exiles?

I had an idea for an rpg and wanted to run it past you all to see what everybody thought.

Existence is truly a difficult concept to explain. As some of you realize there is not one dimension but many. Thousands upon thousands of universes, all of them reflections of one another; similiar yet somewhat different. All of these dimensions are connected to one another in a long series, think of it kind of like DNA. The strands all they into one another and are interlinked in ways that not even the greatest of minds can truly comprehend.

Linked together this chain is very much like a human body. Everything dependent on one another, everything linked and when problems arise the proper actions are taken to correct these mistakes. Now normally everything runs smoothly. However something has gone wrong, horribly and terribly wrong. An event has occured that has unleashed a wave of enthropy that has ripped into the multitude of dimensions and changed the way things should have gone. Now events that had once occured went differently, lives have been altered for better or worse and trouble has arisen.

Normally when one dimension suffers a seizure it causes a ripple effect, creating difficulties for those dimensions linked closest to it. These events are normally contained and corrected before the problem becomes serious. Such is not the case now. It is uncertain what has caused this ripple effect to create unimaginable havoc numerous dimensions.

Now how does this affect you? Apparently my friend you have become victum of this event. Due to drastic changes in existence as we know it you have become unhinged from time. What does that mean? It means this wave of chaos has torn through dimensions connected to your's and now life as you know it has changed. and I'm sorry to say that its for the worst.

The question you have to ask yourself is what are you going to do next? While you are unhinged now you remain safe from the effects that have changed your world, for now. But eventually everything will snap back and you will be returned to your own reality where things are not they way they should be.

The choice you have to make is this. Do you simply sit here and wait for the inevitable or do you take action and fix what is broken? I cannot fix the mistakes in the different dimensions that where wrought about by this chaos wave, I have no physical prescence in reality itself. But you do. Take up this cause, join with others who have suffered the same fate and I offer you salvation. Help set right what was made wrong and in doing so repair the events that fractured your own timeline, put your life back to the way it should have been.

I'm sorry to say but its really your ownly choice.

OOC: how about it folks?

hmmmmm......

Well as for characters pretty much anything goes. Just a few things to understand

1.) While some of these characters may know each other here is one thing to think about. Just because you have fought with or against Jehuty (for example) before does not necessarily means this is the same Jehuty you met. Characters for this RPG will have been torn from their home dimensions due to being unhinged from time. Because of this they can come in all sizes, shapes, colors and textures. Guyvers, zoaforms, not guyver related characters pretty much anything is acceptable

2.) For now at least please limit yourselves to one character. I know I hate having limitations especially if you start rp'ing and then decide you have a perfect character for the game. Limit numbers helps keep the charactes down and the group relatively smallish.

3.) Power levels may vary but lets say something like 30x a guyver to be the max? That seems to be fairly constant level here and I think it may things fun without making them too powerful

As for story lines here was my thinking.

Characters who agree to the offer will become part of a group of repair men basically. Tell will be sent to a dimension. Given their instructions and then they must carry out their task. Once the task is completed they shall move on to the next damaged dimension. If they fail to complete their task they will not move on.

Instructions will be given via a device called Tallus. Tallus basically is a gold bracer with a red gem placed in it. Tallus will transfer from one character to the next based on who is best suited to lead the mission. Tallus comunicates by speaking to the person who wields, they and only they can hear its voice.

Missions:

Missions in each dimension can range from just about anything to everything. In one world the mission may be to kill Gandhi, in the next to buy the last cheese danish from a bakery. Anything goes as the Butterfly Effect definetly applies here. The smallest things can sometimes change the outcome of an entire universe.

I figured for the first few I would sort of play God and craft the missions and tasks that need to be completed. However an idea I had would be to later on allow other characters to take turns being the boss. I figure it helps everyone stay involved and each get a turn so they can have what they want to occur ....well occur.

Hmmm. Can't think of anything else but please feel free to ask away and I shall be here at your service.
