Title: power benchmarks pt 2
Description: oh crap I'm talking about this again!

A thought just occurred to me recently that has to do with my previous observations in the previous power benchmarks post where I was talking about the innacuracy of the 100x assumption for a guyvers power. Back then I said it was probably closer to 40, but that was flawed logic (OH NOES!), in actuality a after thinking it over a guyver may actually boost a persons streingth well beyond 100 times, probablyin the 1000's! Here's why I think that.

What might be 10 x a persons streingth for one indevidual would probably be completely different for another. This even varies among regular humans, some people can bench 300 lbs, while others have toruble with 50.

Now Malmot in his battle form has the power of his human form amplified 7x. He was able to lift up a medium sized truck and toss it on its head which is pretty strong. Now I wasn't able to look up exactly how much mac trucks weigh, but I did find trailers which are slightly smaller then malmots truck, these tend to weigh around 10000 lbs, so that truck could have weighd about 15000! Devided by 7 that comes out to 2142 lbs! Malmot was able to lift nearly a ton in his human form according to that calculation. Other zoaforms like the libertus have shown that their pretty tough in their human form too, so abnormal streingth when not transformed is not something unique to Malmot and is proabably present to a certain extent in all the zoaforms from the lowest ranks up to the zoalords.

Sho on the other hand is a fairly wussy teenager who probably can't lift much as a regular human. So 100 of sho might actually only equal a ramotith in brute power, maybe not even that. The guyver clearly is amplifying it beyond that mark.

When sho overpowers Darzerb in SD mode his power was probably equal to about 80 of Darzerbs human form, but who knows how many regular Sho's that would have been equal to?

In any case whther its more or less then 100, the only thing I think we can say with almost certainty right now is that a guyver does not amplify a persons power exatly 100 x. The reason I say this is the misunderstood translations that originally caused people to think thats how much a guyvers power is amplified by (see my other power benchmarks post for details on this). The guyver amplified the power of the host 100 x what the advents expected, if a guyver truly did amplify a hosts power by 100 x that means the advents originally expected the guyvers power to remain the same when boosted as the host when not wearing it which wouldnt make sense at all.

EDIT:Although I guess its conceivable if the armor functioned as just a simple environmental suit for the advents with no enhancments at all, then it might be conceivable that they werent expecting it to do anything funny witht he hosts power /

Another thing I thought I'd mention here is that recently I was over at the guyver.net board and noticed a post about how the guyver maximizes efficiency in all parts of the host even changing some of their internal organs such as the lungs and digestive system. Originally I thought that if a guyver bonded with a zoaform, only its strength and energy based weapons would be amplified by the unit. But this makes me rethink that, if the guyver bothers to change stuff like the digestive system to make the host stronger it wouldnt be so far fetched to think the guyver might change the compound in a gasters missiles to make their explosives more potent for example. What do you guys think of that idea?
