Right,this was thought was talked about a while back and I thought I'd bring it back to the discussion table,especially as things have been slow around here lately.

An X-Men based RPG

During the discussions a few things were raised,namely which universe it'd be set in,and whether we'd choose existing characters,create new ones or a bit of both. At the time it seemed most people favoured working from the movie universe(since it's the easiest to catch up on) and the freedom to carry on with characters already seen in the films,adapt their favourite from the comics to the movie setting or create new mutants entirely.

As for storyline,I thought it'd be interesting to deal with Apocalypse in the movie setting.

I call Wolverine. And I think It sounds good. Moive yes. Mainly because the latest comic I've read keeps mentioning the Hand and Hydra. so I'm lost. And I've never really understood what Apocalypse was. In X-men evoltuion he was a Muntant. In The old cartoons he was...well unstoppale. So what was he?

Secondly,Apocalypse was one of,if not the first mutant. His real name means The First One(En Sabah Nur in case anyone is interested)

I'll probably use an original mutant, although juggernaut would be kind of fun too. Also are we allowed to bring in other things from the marvel universe like spiderman?

We are actually Z,although obviously Galactus is a no-no along with a few others. There's a few characters I'd deem 'too powerful',but so far no one has claimed any of them.

Welcome aboard Paladin,Mimic is a fine choice as long as you use the Exiles version for the limits ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimic_%28comics%29#Exiles )

I'll play in this if we can make our own mutents. Gall I'll send you the baseline data if you want. Need to get back into the swing of things.

If I can get my internet up in time, I am laying claim to Hybrid and Toxin I (More Toxin info), that is if we can use non mutants as well. Ciao.
