A few days ago I got the firt three graphic novels of this. This is one of if not the funniest manga I've read. It's about an alien who looks like a frog named Sgt Keroro and four other frogs named Tamama, Giroro, kururu and Dororo. Theres also another alien who looks like a blond Girl, she's Angol Moa, the lord of terror prophesied by nostradamis, for some reason Keroro is her uncle even though their different species. She also has a crush on keroro which is funny.

Keroro gets captured by two kids Natsumi and Fuyuki and sort of becomes their servant. It's sort of like a japanese frog version of invader zim. Because Keroro comes up with all sorts of stupid schemes for taking over pokopen (also called Pekopon in the anime) which is the Keron word for earth.

It parodys alot of differnt things. Giroros fight with 623 was a great example of this which was a parody of the fight Asuka had with Zeruel the 14th angel. It also parodys other more obscure things like Junji Ito horror manga and the 1980's ghostbusters cartoons.

I can't wait for the fourth one to come out because Angol Moa is going to try to seduce Keroro in vol 4, and that looks like its going to be really funny. But it's not coming out until september, I need to wait a whole month curse this waiting period! :bang:

I also really like all the characters in this. Right now my favorite characters are Giroro and Kururu.

I also hunted down the first few eps of the anime (not released in america yet) it's not quite as good as the manga from what I've seen but still pretty funny.

Also this gave me an idea for a guyverized Keron character, I might bring him into one of the rpgs in the future.
