Yeah Bruckheimer is a great director he also did armageddon, the guy your talking about is michael bay. Their combination as director and producer makes films worth watching.

Micheal Bay

Micheal Biel kept springing to mind, but he was the guy that played Hicks in Aliens so I knew it wasnt him >>

Seems like a few of his movies had Kurt russell in them. I know hte Escapes and Big Trouble in Little China had him in them. Those three are some of my fave movies, even if Escape from New York is so damn hard to find.

not in Australia its not

you walk into any video and dvd rental store, you'll find Escape from New York and Escape from LA in every single one of them, either on video or dvd, a lot have both video and dvd copies of them.

Its the same over here in Scotland, Escape from New York is every where like Virgin, HMV and stuff.

It took me quite a while to find Big Trouble in Little China on video or DVD then found it in the In Shops.

theres a local place here that has just about every DVD ever made, next time I go there I plan on looking for them.

Ive heard people say Escape From LA is better than New York but I strongly disagree. Ok granted LA has some cool people in it like Steve Buscemi, Bruce Campbell and that woman from Hotshots.

I agree, Escape from NYC was far superior, it had a more likable story and it was original!

Escape from LA was just.....too predictable

I heard they were supposed to be doing a Snake Plissken Chronicles game but havent heard any more about it in a while. I dont know if they will mess that up, lets hope not.
